John did an exceptional job walking me through all the features and functionality of the vehicle that I was ordering. When it arrived he sat down with me and went over the entire vehicle functions and the features and functionality of the vehicle that I was ordering. As part of this meeting service appointments were set up and an appointment to allow me the opportunity to get any questions answered about how the Subaru Forester operates. This is my second visit at this dealership. First was to buy a new 2020 Outback. They didn’t have a red one. I was told I could go online and find one and they could get it for me. Second was a get a system update, the car wouldn’t let me do it. I called Subaru and they told me to take it to the dealer. Your service person we very nice. I got there to late. I was told I could bring it back as long as I arrived before 3PM. I arrived at 1PM and was told the techs were at lunch and I had to wait an hour for them. While they were doing the update the service person came to me and told me I had 2 bad tires and needed air and cabin filters. The tires were bad but both filters were great. I questioned why they did the inspection when it was there just for an update. I was told they do it on every car. When I received the paperwork they had marked that I had given permission for them to do the inspection and permission to go into my glovebox and trunk. I would have NEVER given permission for that!!! It’s bad enough they did it but worse that they said I gave permission. I guess the next time I will go back to where I purchased it even though it is an hour away in bad traffic. More
