Was so VERY disappointed. Bought an HHR brand spanking new, made-to-order back in 2007. Took it to Tim Lally for YEARS and it seemed like they always treated me well. Then Bought an HHR brand spanking new, made-to-order back in 2007. Took it to Tim Lally for YEARS and it seemed like they always treated me well. Then after taking it to them for 15 years, they told me that the ONLY way to fix an oil leak I was having was to replace the engine. $4,000 - $5,000 to replace the engine or buy a new car. I said "No thank you." A friend highly recommended Spicer Automotive in Solon. Took it to them and they said it was an oil pressure sensing unit. $170 parts and labor. That was it. Drove her for another two years, taking her to Spicer whenever I needed work. Finally had to give her up back in February. But I went with a Subaru because I will NEVER trust Tim Lally again! More

Should not take 2 hours for the work to be done. Also the vehicle went in with no service lights on and comes out with a service park brake light on and an estimate to just diagnose it for $145. I have had my vehicle in for the same issue 2x in the last 10 mos and within 1 week of 2nd visit the issue resurfaced. First time they had it for over a week. Second time I took it in they quoted me 1.5 last 10 mos and within 1 week of 2nd visit the issue resurfaced. First time they had it for over a week. Second time I took it in they quoted me 1.5 hrs to diagnose and I was there for over 3 hours. First visit cost me $500. Second cost me $300 and I had to fight to have diagnosis fee waived due to misdiagnosis the first go round. Quote for repairs after second visit was an $800 part and $3k in labor. Took it to another service dept for a second opinion and my issue was resolved for $1600. The service dept that resolved the issue said that Lally misdiagnosed again and if I would have moved forward with their quote I would have had the exact same issue again within 6mos bc their diagnosis was wrong. Sean was polite and empathetic but other than that I had a terrible experience with Tim Lally Chevy. I would not recommend them for purchase or service to anyone. More
