I explained with the cost of the tires, mounting, balancing and alignment I would not be able to afford the battery he suggested as I was doing a move from Mississippi to Texas on the following Wednesday. My only disappointment was the tires weren't cleaned after being installed. They still had some kind of white substance coming out of the rim and the mounting dots were still on the tires. I've never had the tires look this bad when done at a dealership before. Disappointing More
I purchased a 2020 Kia Telluride from Toyota of Rockwall on June 7. Shortly after, it needed an oil change, and then the engine failed on the highway while I was driving with my children, requiring a tow at on June 7. Shortly after, it needed an oil change, and then the engine failed on the highway while I was driving with my children, requiring a tow at my expense. The dealership promised repairs, a $1,500 check, and a trade in appraisal. The engine repair required three separate engines, and even after the repairs, the check engine light has returned and I continue to receive alerts. While I eventually received the check, communication was poor. I only spoke directly with the GM once, and all subsequent attempts to reach him were ignored. My requests to speak with the VP or owner were also ignored, forcing me to escalate to consumer agencies. I was also told I needed to remove my reviews to get the check, which was concerning. This review reflects my factual experience. More

⚠️ BEWARE of Service Practices at Toyota of Rockwall ⚠️ Do NOT send your elderly loved ones here alone! My mother brought her less-than-2-year-old Lexus in for routine maintenance as outlined in the ⚠️ Do NOT send your elderly loved ones here alone! My mother brought her less-than-2-year-old Lexus in for routine maintenance as outlined in the Lexus warranty manual. She trusted the dealership to follow the recommended services — but instead, she was upsold multiple services without her consent or proper explanation. She was shocked to receive a $651 bill at checkout. Here’s what they did without her approval: Tire rotation AND alignment — no proof or explanation that alignment was needed. Oil and fuel additives — not requested or discussed. Brake fluid change — charged $140, even though her car only has 20,000 miles. Their own invoice says this is recommended at 35–40K miles, while Lexus recommends it at 30K. Why was this done at 20K? see attached pic. I reached out to Tony Yazbeck (GM) and Barbara Jackson (VP) via email — no response from either. The service advisor told my mother he was new, which raises serious concerns. Is this how new employees are trained — to upsell and take advantage of elderly customers who trust them? This experience was deeply disappointing and unacceptable. I’m sharing this to warn others and to encourage Toyota of Rockwall to take accountability and improve their service transparency. Repair Order 6214856 More
