Oil change took almost 3 hours to complete while waiting at dealership. In addition free oil changes that came with the vehicles purchase were gone and we were charged $90 for an oil change without the ser at dealership. Would not recommend the service department for anything not covered by warranty. More
They r very unprepared and their is no attention to the small details. They just want to get u in a vehicle and out the door. This is the fourth Prius I have purchased but this is the first bad experience I have had with a Toyota dealership. I bought the car online without seeing it since we live 2.75 hours from the dealership. Bec first bad experience I have had with a Toyota dealership. Because it was advertised as certified pre-owned, I expected it to be thoroughly cleaned and in full working order. As we were leaving the dealership, they told us they didn't have a second set of keys so they would mail them to us. Since then, we discovered signs the car was not professionally detailed. For example, the door & hatchback jams are filthy and whatever was used to cover an odor wore off rather quickly. To resolve these issues, they wanted me to take a day off, drive to Scranton, wait around until the work is done, and then drive home. The drive alone would take 5.5 hours so I'd expect around at least a 7 hour day to resolve issues not caused by me. I suggested they hire someone locally like the dealership closest to me, but they said it would cost them too much money. I also suggested that they have someone pick up the car from my house but they said it wasn't safe and they didn't want to be liable. Also, after the first rain, we discovered the intermittent wipers do not work. They have not responded to my emails regarding if it's covered under warranty and, if so, could it be fixed at any dealership. More
