I've been going to ACURA of Glendale (CA) ever since I've purchased my 2019 ACURA RDX Tech, Pkg. back in April of 2019. Even though I bought it elsewhere, my purchasing experience was not good, and the Glendale dealership is much closer, so I went to the Glendale location for services. John Ladouceur and his crew (Brad, Manny, Roger) have taken great care of me since last April. Even though the Apply CarPlay issue has been a headache to deal with to this day, they understand my frustration and have been very respectful and courteous in every way. I have serviced my vehicle only at this location since the purchase because they have been nothing but the best and I am completely satisfied with the quality of service I have received, and that says a lot about the leadership of John and his crew. Trust your ACURA (or HONDA) at this dealership and you won't be disappointed.

Made an appointment to have the oil changed in my 2016 Acura RDX. I had a 50% off coupon, asked how much it cost, $80. Sounds expensive ($160 without the coupon?) but ok, fine. Also needed a latch fixed on console. Asked own long everything would take - about an hour and a half if they had the part, otherwise they would change the oil and I'd come back to fix the latch. Ok. Nine am apt. - Ok. Asked about Covid and would I be able to wait inside. Yes, you can wait inside, they disinfect and maintain distancing. So ok, I'll wait. Get there 9am. Leave the car it's going to take all day. People standing around outside. Lots of customers despite these lousy reviews!? No one aloud inside min the air conditioning. A very nice young lady offered me a seat, that was nice. But no thanks, I'm leaving. Won't be back. Didn't work with Jack Mahal but can't post review without clicking that?

Oakland Acura made the process as painless as possible and was able to squeeze me in same day and was able to have it done hours ahead of time. As I was waiting in service the staff would walk by say hi and just do a friendly check in.

New 2019 TLX Rear Passenger Door Molding Repair - Vet2019
The molding around the rear passenger door was falling off of my new Acura TLX when I took it in for repair. Instead of pushing it back on, I was told it could not be fixed and a new one would be ordered. I was to be called when the part arrived. I was never called. After 3 weeks, I called and, after being transferred around, was told the part had bee sitting at the dealer. I made an appointment for the repair. When I arrived at the appointment, I was told, initially, it would be two hours. Then, the "customer service" representative looked at the problem and said it just needed to be pushed back into place!!! Their records showed the part had been ordered but not who did the ordering! I wasted two weeks and two trips to the dealer for a 5 minute "repair" on a brand new car.

Did not have a good experience. Went here to get my first service done, and by the end of it, the inside of the car was still pretty dirty. I showed it to one of the Lexus guys standing outside and he brought a cloth and some soap and cleaned the door panels from inside. Then after I left, I noticed that they did not even open the small compartment behind the gear as it was still dirty. The little area at the side of the seats was also dirty. Looks like somebody just vacuumed the car for less than 2 minutes and was done with it. Pretty annoyed, actually surprised and absolutely not expected from a Lexus dealership!
Vehicle Servicing - Poor Recommendations and Poor Value - Vroom
Upon multiple visits to Niello Acura dealership in Roseville, I have had instances where I was either mislead about service/cost, condition of my vehicle's components (I have later verified condition of those components with other shops and another dealer - their findings differed greatly from Niello's notes / recommendations) and paid extra for service that was unsatisfactory (upon bringing it up with the rep, he told me that whatever they did was normal... not exactly what you want to hear from Acura... some of these issues had to be corrected at other shops for additional money). Also, received estimates turned out to be lower than the actual costs - it would also be reasonable to include tax especially if cost is over $1K... I'm not asking for a partial cost after all.
Now, whenever I need service, I opt to go extra 30 miles to another dealer, since I have 0 trust in what these guys do and I do not want to be upsold on things or pay extra for parts that do not need replacement.

Horrible experience when I took in my car for a regular service! The service advisor Alec Noel Quinanola was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I pointed out certain services in the breakdown were not requested, he lost his temper and started using profanity with f*** words sprinkled all over. I asked to speak to the manager. I was stunned when he walked away and punched something off a counter! It was almost closing time and all the managers had left. He even tells me that if I cannot pay for the service, I should not be buying an Acura. I told him that I am happy to pay for the services I requested and asked to have his service manager call me about this. I did not receive a call back and so I called Acura nation the next day and ask to speak to the service manager. I was told that "Carlos is with a client and will call you back shortly" I have not received a call back yet.
I don't expect this from any retail establishment let alone a premium brand like Acura! Having been a very happy owner of a Honda in the past and Acura right now, I have had a very positive experience in various dealerships. But this single instance mars that relationship. I filed a detailed complaint with Acura client services about this and I am still hoping that the managers at Acura nation take necessary action to prevent this from happening in the future.
