Excellent, unmatched customer service! - Devo
Darin and Lydia were very nice, and the small perks help! I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family. I liked how they gave me water and washed my car.
See the USA in your CHEVROLET - Howard Case
Very well organized dealership. All parties know thier jobs and procedures very well. This dealership is willing to negotiate prices and all details to get the job done.
Superb service! - happyowner
Great experience! Our salesman did a great job of listening to our needs/wants, was very professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend this establishment!
No pressure. Great dealership. - MurphyDDS
I hate shopping for cars. I do most of my homework online before I ever set foot in a dealership. When I had my list of cars I wanted to look at, I set out to several stores to look at and drive each one of them. After two visits to other dealerships (one of which I will NEVER return to ) I went to Kim Hansens. The salesman I met at Kim Hansens (Nathan) was by far the friendliest and least pushy of all of them. I get that a guy has to make a sale in order to get paid, but I think that sale has to be earned through trust. When I told the guys at Kim Hansens that I needed to think about it overnight, they understood and didn't try those tacky lines you see all the time on TV that slimy salesman use to get you to "buy today." Two days later, I was signing papers and drove away with my new car. I highly recommend you give these guys a chance.
Awesome experience! - kleej
I recommend Smith Chevrolet the sales team and staff are awesome! Go see Warren he is the best! I leased 2 vehicles from them and they understand leases and make it easy and nice to lease from them.
Purchasing a New Truck from Out of State - Sunland-Jim
From the very beginning my interacting with Salesman Devon was a great experience. He was patient, informative and always quick to respond to phone calls, text or e-mails. I couldn’t pass up the Great Deal I acquired on my New 2018 Colorado SLT GMC Truck. It was a 5 plus hour drive to the dealership , but was well worth it. We were treated so well by everyone we dealt with at the Dealership and would definitely recommend Steve’s Hometown to individuals seeking to purchase a new vehicle. Jim Ronald
Very positive experience with the service dept. - BHafer
Andrew was honest and treated us so well from start to finish. They worked well with our extended warranty company to make sure the work was covered before doing anything. They updated us numerous times throughout the process. They allowed us to take a loaner car which made this process doable for us. We would recommend Tadd Jenkins Chevrolet to anyone. They went above and beyond to make our experience a positive one.
Long wait for vehicle - Ed
Saw a used Mazda 3 on web site and called on it. Talked to the manager for used cars. I wanted a out the door price (OTD to include TTL). Manager gave us his cell and told to call if we had any other questions. Talked to him 3 times about things and verified the price each and every time. We were paying for the car outright (cash) and didn't want any surprises. We made an appointment and went down that day to buy the car. We told them I had to be to work and only had 3 hours to do this (Should be more than enough time). Arrived on time was greeted and able to take on test drive right away. When the paperwork started, time came to a stop. The salesman wanted to negotiate the price of the car. We said no, the price $13K OTD. The salesman finally could get the price to what was agreed upon by the manager the days before. We argued about dealer fee. Remember all the phone calls and verifying OTD price. Even told him we are paying cash and will bring only this amount. We then sat at the salesman desk for 2 hours while he went to get the car detailed (meaning washed, dirt streaks in trunk area never cleaned) and gassed. The dealership had maybe 3 couples looking around at cars (not very busy). After this long and useless wait we finally was able to see the finance person. No one was in finance office because I had clear view of the office while sitting there. This person raised his voice and was very rude to my wife (very unprofessional). We finally paid for it and was able to go. Over 3 hours to do this. Asked to have my son on title paperwork- was told DMV does that, LIE. DMV said would have to been done at dealership, they can not change paperwork. 3 day temp tag- Bought on Thursday - good till Friday. (Tag states good for 3 day not to include weekends. Could not even count 3 days). I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
bad service experience on recall - LR
Wife’s car had recall on air bag. Dropped off then learned the next day they forgot to order parts. Also got her name wrong on paperwork. It is Colleen.
Pushy Extended Warranty Seller/Poor at Refunding - TERI
Say NO to all the warranty and special coverages (except possibly bumper to bumper). Three months later and STILL waiting for refund after cancellation. UGH!
Sales, Service - Rodger
Purchased a used 2016 Sijverado. Carl was very helpful making this happen. Shawn in parts, helped out with accessories and Dan in finance closed the deal. No pressure and painstakingly easy. Kudos to all. Great service and friendliness.
Simply the worst.... Now they won't even take my calls... - K9NSP
When I first learned that Kendall had purchased Edmark, I knew that it was potentially going to be a bad thing. And it was. But it's much worse than I imagined. From sales to service, Kendall has ruined it all. This is my story...
SERVICE: My truck displayed a check engine light and put itself into low power mode one early morning on the way to work. Low power mode forced me to clear the light to get the truck the rest of the way to work. Upon arrival at the Kendall Service Dept. they were unable to pull a code for the engine light and ended up replacing a $900 motor mount, assuring me that would fix my problem. It didn't. Two days later it happened all over again.
Rather than fix it, I chose to sell. And when I was cleaning out my truck for the sale I discovered some recall paperwork that was sent to me in the past that I simply needed to keep in case this exact problem ever developed. It did, obviously, and the letter arrived so long ago that I didn't remember it. And neither did the service dept..
So I spent $900 on a repair that I didn't need. And when I called to try and make this right they couldn't be bothered to take my call.
SALES: This place used to pride itself on straight-forward deals with no hassle or negotiations. This is your price, take it or leave it. Not always the best way to buy a car, but sometimes you just don't have time to play the game that comes with car buying. Except now they tell you that's the policy, and the games go on anyway, making it the worst possible way to buy a car.
In my case, I simply wanted the price for my trade that the Kelley Blue Book said I deserved. Not the high price, just the fair price. And they came in low. So I reiterated that I simply wanted the fair price that the book publishes, and they actually went lower. And they never would put the price of the car that I was looking at into writing, so I moved on.
Long story short, I went down the street to Peterson Chevrolet where I was in and out in a couple of hours, I received the fair price for my trade that I was looking for without any hassle, and I got a fair price for the car that I was looking for. And you should do the same.
THE MORAL TO THIS STORY is simply this: Peterson Chevrolet, just a few miles down the road in Boise, will treat you fair and respect your time. And you can't run away from the criminals at Kendall Auto Mall fast enough. Lest you just want to hang around and let them mug you while distracting you with cookies. Caveat emptor.
Very unfriendly and Unprofessional - brent123
I wont go in to detail but I caution any one going there look else where First if you have a nice trade in they don't want them and will give you nothing for them. On top of that they High Jacked my Wife's Email and had the audacity to e mail her... She Did NOT GIVE THEM HER E MAIL ADDRESS!
No guarantee on work no customer service - Frustrated
I had a mechanical problem with my RV while passing through Salmon, Idaho. The Repairs they conducted on my RV failed after less than 500 miles. When I tried to get issue resolved they said there was no guarantee and nothing could be done. What? Engine they worked on is a Ford engine; they are a Ford dealer! They have now refused to return my calls leaving me stranded as the result of their incompetent repair job. I don't know what's more frustrating; lack of competent repair or complete lack of customer service! Giving them 1 star is overrating them. If I had an option I would give them a zero! A zero rating for zero service.
