The purpose of this review is not to be mean spirited, - Justin
The purpose of this review is not to be mean spirited, but to warn others about purchasing used vehicles from Lithia in Pocatello. I recently bought a 2016 Ford Edge. While on the test drive, I noticed the TPMS light was on. I asked the salesman if he would be willing to fix that if I decided to purchase it. He said no. I was willing to let that go and it ended up costing me $180.00 for new TPS sensors. Still no big deal because I felt like I got a fair deal on the car ($8000), which had 117,000 miles on it.
A few days after I purchased the air conditioner compressor went out and it cost me $1500.00 to fix. After making my first payment, we had our first cold morning when I realized the heater didn't work. After fixing the heater ($300.00), the transmission went out (All Tran quoted a $6500.00 repair).
I went into Lithia to talk with the manager and he told me lemon laws in Idaho don't apply to used vehicles and he refused to help me further. So my warning to you is DO NOT BUY from this dealership. They obviously don't check out their used vehicles before they sell them and they don't stand behind them in nightmare scenarios such as this. I can't believe they didn't know there were serious issues with this car. I'm guessing they just reset the codes and sent it out the door. VERY upset over this. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy from Lithia in Pocatel
