If the Great sales team can get you to buy a vehicle from them, the service guys will keep you coming back to buy your next one. I’ve bought my last 5 vehicles from Gordon. They try and get you the best deal they can. I’ve always found the whole team honest, reliable, and competitively priced. They’ve always treated me good, that’s why I keep going back.
Worst buying experience I’ve ever had - Curtispressel
Place is an absolute joke.. I don’t even know where to start. At first my sales lady was super helpful getting me what I wanted ( answering calls, texts, and emails fairly quick) once it came around to getting financed everything changed. I had great credit and very low debt to income, but I hadn’t had a loan that big before ($52k) so they said i needed a co-signer.. I had my mother co sign (also great credit and low debt to income) I got approved and we started talking about the loan and they come back and tell me 8-9% interest. Instantly I tell them I’ll go to my credit union on my way home from work. At this point they had no interest in putting any effort into my sale. Stopped at Clackamas Federal Credit union and within minutes I was approved for the full amount on my own at 3% interest. Everything was done on my loan they just needed the purchase order to write the check. From that day through the next I didn’t get one call back and my sales lady wouldn’t answer anything from me. A day and a half later someone from finance called me asking if one of their banks matched my rate and payment If I would go through them. Already having everything done through Clackamas I said no I just want my purchase order to complete my loan and get the truck. Didn’t hear anything the rest of the day.. at this point I’m calling the dealer 2-3 times a day trying to talk to my sales lady and/or the new car sales manager. Finally the next day at noon they send it over and say as soon as I get the check to them the transport company can pick the truck up. So I rush to the bank and ups after work and spend $80 to have it overnighted before noon the next day. A day goes by calling them all day, still nothing. The next day I’m told I need to sign the dmv papers so they can release the truck. (Transport company has been there twice to pick it up already) I sign the papers on my email and send them right back. Don’t hear from them for another day. Finally after going through sales managers and jumping through all their xxxxxxxx I am told the truck had a rock chip on the door handle so they pulled and repainted it. When I got the truck all the door handles were filthy and you could clearly see it was never painted. But they say it can be picked up so I call the transport company to have him pick it up and bring it to me. The truck shows up covered in mud like it was driven down a muddy desert road. Even on the papers from the transport company under where it says “inspection” they wrote too dirty to inspect for damage. Whatever I can wash the truck but I see I paid $150 for a “hand buff synthetic sealant” on top of it I paid to have a B&W turnover ball installed in the bed at the dealer. Also told them I didn’t want their window tint and asked if the truck had a bedliner and they said it did not which I was fine with and told them I was going to have the windows and bed done locally. Which my sales lady said was okay she would remove the money from the $500 I put for the floor liners and stuff. When I get the truck, the windows are tinted, there is a spray in bed liner, there is no gooseneck hitch installed (which I had paid for) and only one key. I call them right away about everything and they tried to argue with my about it till they went back and listed to the phone calls, but still tried to make me pay their cost for the window tint and bedliner that I did not agree too. They made it seem like this is what you get and that’s that. Which is not how you should be treated when buying a BRAND NEW pickup. After 3 days off calling and talking to them cause they never made an effort to reach me I was told there was a local shop that can do it and they will pay for the hitch and instal. Scheduled it two weeks out, go to drop my truck off and none of the parts are there. Call them a couple times and they blame it on the warehouse not sending the parts over. Re schedule it a week later and finally get it installed. This is after 3-4 weeks of having the truck. A month goes by and i still don’t have plates for it so I call and ask what the deal is, the dmv papers that held up the truck being released needed a real signature so they could send over the papers so I can get my plates. I overnight them back and go out of town for 3 weeks come back and still nothing. They’re saying it’s my banks fault (still never once checking to make sure everything’s done) two months of owning the truck and still no plates. Their temporary permit is now a month expired. I would never recommend anyone to buy from them and have to deal with what I went through.

Our sales person, Collin was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions. and there was no pressure at any time. We were quoted a good price right out of the gate so there was no need to haggle.
All of the credit an preliminary information was handled online and over the phone. When we arrived to pick up our new Jeep everything was ready and we out the door in less than an hour.
That’s my kind of car buying experience!

I would reccomend buying from Pierce Auto Center in Sagle . Ryan Daly gave me one of the most comfortable easy buying experiances I have honestly ever had . It was such a pleasure from being greeted when I got there till the time I drove away in my new jeep. He really did a great job at taking the time to listen to me and figure out exactly what I would be comfortable in . I also felt he did his absolute best in getting me a more than fair price. Thank you Ryan Daly and Pierce Auto Center

dealership scam and horrible customer service - laura H
I Purchased a Ford 150 from Steve’s Hometown Motors. The dealer ran a credit report and advised I qualify for financing. The Finance Mgr wrote up a contract between Chase Bank and me. He also included a document that advised I would return the truck if the financing fell through. (The section with the date “within” a specific number of days appears to be blank. I was told this was a formality until Chase processes the loan over the next couple days. 6 weeks later, I went to the DMV to get the registration in my name and the dmv had not received the title as of yet, I had to call down to hometown to get the title. The girl at the front desk proceeded to tell me that she was sorry but had to look for my title since the finance guy got fired, the title girl quit, and the manager quit. She called me back an hour later and told me my title was at the dmv and I could go register my truck now. I then registered the truck in my name. A couple hours later a finance girl called me and told me that the loan had fallen through and I had to bring the truck back due to debt to income ratio, she asked me to email her a copy of my pay stubs and some references, which I did. They then got the GM Dave on the phone and he told me that he was going to figure something out. I then got some advice to go talk to the manager directly at chase bank so I went to Chase Bank and the manager told me that they had requested more information from the dealer back when we first applied but they never heard back from them with the information and eventually just closed the application. They also told me that the dealer had my credit checked 6 times fishing for a loan, dropping my score from a 620 to a 589. I called the gm to ask if he had figured anything out and he said no and told me to bring the truck back, I said I would the next day and he asked me" you promise your going to bring the truck in" pretty much making me feel like I was stealing a truck I clearly thought I owned. I went back to the dealer with my boyfriend to try and work out a way to keep the truck, they did have my trade in car listed for sale (which they told me was upside down but were selling for around $3000 more than what I owed) When I came in the GM was there demanding my truck returned. I asked for help in keeping it and told him my boyfriend drove me there to work this out. He got very angry and called me a thief, used the “F” word frequently, kept telling me he was going to call the cops and to get out of his xxxxx office! and honestly just totally lost it. While yelling at me he said the that I couldn’t afford the truck and that the finance guy had lied and put that I made 1500 more on my credit report to qualify you! Well, that was the first I heard of this (and I haven’t seen that loan application since they do it all online) but probably why Chase wanted more information and they didn’t reply. I was in tears and my boyfriend who was quiet until the cursing started, told the GM he would take him outside and settle it, but he won’t because he wants to work this out. Then the GM told someone to call the police because he was being threatened… The police came and were very nice to us, stayed and talked a few minutes then left. Mind you they never told the police about me "stealing" their truck like they said they were going to. I was so stressed, in tears, and the manager told a salesman to follow us back to Ontario Oregon and get the truck. He also stated he would reimburse us for replacing cracked windshield, tinting, and DMV costs. He said come back in the next day with receipts and he would write a check. The next day I went back with my Dad to give them the receipts and pick up the check. I was told they weren’t going to pay for the windshield and that they had to check on the window tinting to make sure it was legal tint, which they didn’t mention when they said they would pay me back. I told them that you cant get a window tinted if it had a crack in it so I had to replace the window (their was a crack when I bought it as is) and that the receipt has the tint on it and it is clearly legal. at that point we told them we were leaving and would take other steps to resolve this. Right away they said wait, the Finance manager asked the GM to text “Steve” (the owner) the GM then said they would cover the full amount but they couldn’t get us a check until late Monday or Tuesday AM. All I wanted was to keep the truck I fell in love with, willing to pay the high 9% interest, but find it wrong that they changed my income to gain approval, wrote up a financial agreement with Chase who hadn’t approved the loan, (maybe that’s the practice) ran my credit 6 times impacting a credit score which I have hired someone earlier this year to help me repair, mislead me about the value of my trade-in, and finally openly swearing and trying to intimidate us to return the truck. Two different employees apologized to us for the GM’s behavior, one salesman said the old finance manager was fired for not processing the loans and had a more than just mine that were sitting on his desk.
I did contact the owner of the companys Steve's customer care lady and she or steve would call me back, I have not hear anything from them.
No guarantee on work no customer service - Frustrated
I had a mechanical problem with my RV while passing through Salmon, Idaho. The Repairs they conducted on my RV failed after less than 500 miles. When I tried to get issue resolved they said there was no guarantee and nothing could be done. What? Engine they worked on is a Ford engine; they are a Ford dealer! They have now refused to return my calls leaving me stranded as the result of their incompetent repair job. I don't know what's more frustrating; lack of competent repair or complete lack of customer service! Giving them 1 star is overrating them. If I had an option I would give them a zero! A zero rating for zero service.

Don't trust Tim Yeates!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only will Tim back out on his own deals but he will continue to lie straight to your face. Started purchasing vehicle and was completing paperwork and went onto dealers website, and magically the vehicle is on there. When asked Tim states no that vehicle isn't on there, its still back in the lot and they haven't even detailed it or touched it since it came in the weekend before. Kind of funny mileage, color, and style is all the same. Wait the VINs match too. Don't lie to my face and then when we catch you state you didn't know that they put it up. Not only did he refuse to honor the original quote given prior to test drive but continued to say that dent/scratches and windshield weren't included in the quote. How come pictures were asked on the dent/scratches and windshield prior to the quote if they weren't going to be included. Duh they were and you just want a bigger commission. I will never work with Tim or the dealer again. They may have cheaper prices but only to lure people in so they can screw them on servicing. Good Luck Tim and hope you enjoy your commission. Dale Allen, I sure wish we could have worked with you instead, probably would have not been so disgruntled.
I will never buy a car from Wood River Motors again. I... - cacfus
I will never buy a car from Wood River Motors again. I purchased a used car there in September 2012, the vehicle had over 100,000 miles so I confirmed with the salesperson that the 100,000 mile service had been performed, particularly the timing belt replacement. I was told, more than once, that the service had been performed. I found out a few months later when i had the car in a shop in Washington that the timing belt had never been replaced and was in very bad condition. I was lucky the other shop found it before it broke while I was driving. $900 later I had a new timing belt. I spoke with the salesperson and GM at Wood River Motors over the phone many times and they took no responsibility for lying to me about the 100,000 mile service being performed.
Turns out these guys are the stereotypical used car salesman. Take my word for it, buy your car elsewhere.
