Service was the usual great experience. Everyone knows you will spend time waiting for your car to be serviced no matter the problem . That said you are informed from beginning until you drive away. That in itself means a successful feeling to the time spent waiting. Knowing what’s going on. Justin Storr was friendly, professional and seemed to take your visit personally and made sure you felt comfortable with what was going on. A pleasant surprise from what you might expect elsewhere. Outstanding Customer Service Experience at McGrath of Barrington Mark in the service department was an absolute blessing. After a terrible experience at the Volvo of Lisle’s service department, Mark listened attentively to my concerns and immediately scheduled me for same day service at his location. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless. I was warmly greeted, my car was promptly taken into the shop, and a loaner vehicle was ready and waiting. Within just 90 minutes, I received a follow-up text from Mark with the results of the diagnostic—far quicker than the 48 hours it took Volvo of Lisle to even identify the issue. The needed part was already on order, and throughout the process, Mark maintained excellent communication, responding quickly to all of my text inquiries. Even though McGrath of Barrington is over 25 miles from my home in Wheaton, I will gladly return for future service. They truly understand what customer service is all about.

Their customer service is really bad. I was told that parts will come in within a week and then a week became weekssss and NO ONE CALL to let us know. We have to call back to find out. When we called, they can't find my order and told me to bring my car back so that they can check on the parts numbers, which they should given that i was there the last time and they looked at my car. Upon my request, they checked again and then FOUND my records and told me that part would take a few MORE WEEKS!!!!!

Came in with urgent airbag message and left with urgent airbag message, urgent ABS message, wipers that wont turn off (they just pulled the fuse and left it in the fuse box), and turn signals that don't work. All this is the result of them just doing a diagnostic scan. I can go back and have them look at it again for a minimum of $600 - no guarantees on what the final figure will be.

Akrim A. deserves a great dept of gratitude from me. I had what seemed like a very minor condition materialize with my Jaguar the night before I had a very long drive for a client meeting. Akrim's care revealed an unrelated but extremely dangerous condition with one of my tyres. He insisted I leave the vehicle as he did not think it was safe for me. I would never have noticed this condition on my own. I had no reason to check. Without Akrim's genuine concern for me personally, my long drive could have ended very badly. Instead, I was driving a very nice and very safe vehicle provided for me as a courtesy at Akrim's insistence. Akrim and everyone at Howard Orloff, you've been great to me for 26 years!!!!
