About a year ago I was in the market for a new car. During my search for the right car, I came to this dealership on 3 separate occasions to test drive vehicles. What I loved about each visit is that Mr. Walker made each visit easy and stress free. I wasn't asked 50 questions about what I'm looking for and he didnt take a bunch of time explaining every single feature the vehicles have. He went over the basics and gave me the keys to take it for a spin. Im considering buying within the next couple of years and when I do, it will definitely be at Suburban Mazda of Troy. Other dealers dont compare.

I got into an accident and had my vehicle was taken to the body shop at Orrin B. Hayes. My insurance company was terrible to deal with, however, the body shop Manager MARY WOODS was excellent and made sure everything was taken care of and my vehicle was repaired timely and properly!!! If it had not been for MARY who knows how long or what would of happen. Hopefully I never have to return to a body shop, but if I do - No other place for me except for Orrin B. Hayes.

Bought a new car from them. After prep, the rear door had a deep scratch in it. The dealer offered to replace the door with another from the demo stock. I didn't trust that they're competent enough to do body work and the color wouldn't match. They didn't offer any other alternatives and never returned any of my emails or messages after that.
I took the car to a professional body shop, they showed me rock chips that were touched up as well.
Mazda's customer service will not do anything since they offered to replace my door.

I'm seeing a P0128 DTC for thermostat recurring. After each visit to Thayer for service, they do nothing more than clear the DTC and tell me to return if the check engine light comes back on. How many time do I need to go to the dealer before they actually fix the problem? After 3 visits I'm still driving a car with the CEL illuminated!

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst service I have ever gotten in the automotive industry. We had our Mazda 3 towed in for engine problems for them to tell us the last people who did the oil change messed it up due to improper installation of the oil filter and the engine was shot. THEY did the last oil change and refused to do anything about it. We asked for the oil filter serial number (we suspect the old filter was put on instead of a new one) to prove it was from prior to the oil change done at their service department, and a few weeks later they called to tell us they did another oil change to see if it would help, never giving us the serial number or the part we asked for. From the other reviews on here I see I am not the first to have engine problems due to negligence of a proper oil change. Needing my car I was forced to pay for a new engine myself, but I will be taking this up with the attorney general.

My cousin bought a brand new Mazda a month ago. The car is an absolute lemon. Currently it is been worked at the dealership for three weeks and she is driving a rental. We have tried to get a new car from the dealer but they have been absolutely unresponsive.

Poorly treated by two different new car salesmen on 2 separate occasions. The salesman today had little to no interest in helping me. I walked in with the intention of buying and paying cash for a new Volvo. I could tell right away that he has no desire to help me. Very condescending.
In past when visiting the service department, I'm treated wonderfully. The parts department was especially helpful. It's because of parts and service that I will refrain from leaving only 1 star. Also Naz has always been very nice and helpful.
