Updated review: While it took some effort on my part, the general manager was willing to ensure the cost of the repair to my 2025 GLI was covered. While I'm still not particularly pleased with Keith Haverty's customer service mentality, my experience with everyone else at the dealership has been stellar in both sales and service.
Overall, the sales experience was fantastic. Derrick and Kevin were very helpful, professional, and honest. Alex and Derek in the service department were also very helpful and I felt really taken care of by all of them. My previous experiences with the service department with my prior car (2017 GLI) also exceeded my expectations.
While the Troy dealership is no longer part of the Suburban family, my experience with the Suburban Collection has been absolutely stellar over the years. I'm glad my issue is being resolved, as I've grown to feel some loyalty to Suburban as they've otherwise always taken care of me and my wife and made us feel like valued customers. Sometimes things happen, and I'm thankful that this could be resolved amicably and that the business relationship between my family and Suburban can continue.
