Quick service for an unexpected need - TCP
My car suddenly developed a terrible sound one morning. I asked AAA to tow me to Webster Groves Subaru, where I had just gotten some work done the day before, even though I knew the sound wasn't related to the work they had done. They squeezed me in despite having a full day of appointments, and the shuttle service took me to work without my having to wait at all. The service guys determined that a rock had gotten somewhere it didn't belong. (I can't remember where they said it was lodged.) They removed the rock for me free of charge. The shuttle picked me up from work and brought me back to the dealership, and I was on my way. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.
Preface - this is the first review I have EVER written... - Sheep or Customer
Preface - this is the first review I have EVER written for (or against) anything! The single star is only due to the excellent job of the sales staff, and the excellent maintenance quality performed previously. I have no issues with the quality of the maintenance performed, or the reliability of the Outback we own. To the issue at hand. Disappointed in the Service Department customer counter interaction is the worst me or my wife, ever have experienced. Whether me or my wife are off base or not, the service department rep should be professional, reasonably respectful, and forthright suggesting maintenance repairs. Service Rep interaction failed in all areas. High Pressure, deflection, intimidation, are standard practice experiences through more than one visit. Typical example - fluid maintenance change is introduced as first fowled dirty, when asked how this happens in a 2018 Outback with 30K, then not debris - over heat break down due to driven conditions, then next - it's a normal maintenance interval to perform every 30K. Told metal shavings found in the brake fluid. Asked a question regarding whether the warranty is active, answer - I'm only helping out the guy handling this service? For what was an appointment for oil and tire rotation became a service maintenance invoice over $1000.00. My wife declined various tasks and after an agreed discount escaped under $700.00. After 3 hours the exit interview got worse. Another counter rep intervened after my wife made several request for her keys. Side Note - My wife is disabled and I work out a town. Wanna bet whether we'll be back there or not? I’m not paid to be part of the service rep BETA team.

I would give negative stars if I could. I purchased my 2020 Forester last June in Washington state. This is my second Forester. The last one I had for 10 years and maintained it perfectly, every 30k major fluids changed, 120k timing belt, water pump, fluids and drive belts. ANYTHING that came up with my car I fixed it right away and at the dealership. So WHY tell you all this? Because this dealership is all about the bait and switch. I brought my 2020 in for an oil change after driving it across the country. The advisor told me my alignment was out and I needed a tire rotation. You get one complimentary alignment in your first 3/36 warranty. I did agree to the tire rotation because the higher tread was in the back.
They charged me $30 for a tire rotation! That is absolutely a rip off. Most of the time an oil change will go through the quick lube size which the tech is paid an hourly rate, not flat rate which means he isn't making any more money for doing it. Lets just say that a flat rate tech did my oil change because there was the alignment as well... my car was already in the air and my wheels should have already been off to check the brakes properly. Even if my wheels weren't off a flat rate tech should not have to put $30 worth of effort into moving tires. ALSO, the advisor did not mention it was a $30 charge for a TIRE ROTATION.
Let's think about this.... the minimum wage in Missouri is $8.60 this oil change would is worth 3.5 hours of work? How in the heck does this add up?
I come from the dealership world. This is extremely disheartening and this is why people do not trust dealerships.
My apple car is not working on my $36,000 car. I called to make an appointment because this is an on going issue. The woman I spoke with told me she would charge me for a rental if it was within my warranty? I am within my 3/36 and I know its a car issue. I have no other signs of any type of damage (rodent or otherwise).
THIS DEALERSHIP WILL TAKE ALL THEY CAN GET FROM YOU! GO TO OLATHE SUBARU!
I am a key toss customer that trusts her advisor and I pay to fix and maintain my car. Unfortunately, this dealership just lost a customer.

I have purchased 2 vehicles from Belton Auto Credit. Ron (who is sadly retired) was beyond amazing with our first vehicle. Never felt pressured in to buying and always friendly and helpful. Jim has been great with our second vehicle, again friendly and helpful. Never had problems with either vehicle that was not easily and quickly taken care of. Jason and Sean (mechanics) go above and beyond in helping with repairs or just simple questions i may have regarding either vehicle, one of which is already paid off. I have recommended BAC and will continue to do so.
Outstanding Service!! - Mark1975
My wife and I were traveling to the lake Friday afternoon while pulling a trailer and my truck started to overheat. I called Larry at Central Missouri Tire to see if there was anyway they could look at it. He said to bring it in and they'd see what they could do to help. He knew that we were 2 hours away from our home...
Wow! We experienced exceptional service! Not only did they look at my truck immediately- they searched for the new water pump, found it and installed it as soon as possible. He and his guys even stayed late on a Friday night just so that we could get back on the road. Larry even took it a step farther by loaning us his own personal car to grab a quick bite to eat while we were waiting. I have to say that Larry and his guys made a bad situation so much better with the kindness he showed my wife and I. Thank you so much Larry and Staff for the exceptional service!! Highly recommend them!!

Vehicle Purchase - exsalesguy
First off - In my previous job I was the Internet Sales Manager at the largest dealership in Wyoming so I am very knowledgeable of fair market prices and how the car sales process works...This weekend I purchased a 2013 Ford Edge from this dealership. My salesman's name was Kiefer Scroggins. I had set the appointment the day before through the Internet Manager (Sheila Jackson). FYI... their Internet department is fantastic! Very quick to return my call on the inquiry that I had made through their website and helpful in setting up the appointment for a test drive.
Back to Kiefer... Kiefer is a very professional, educated and detail oriented young man. He definitely does not fit the old-fashioned, dreaded car salesman stereotype that we all have dealt with in the past. He was very polite and extremely thorough and seemed to have in-depth knowledge on not only the vehicle that we wanted to purchase, but all Ford makes and models. He did a great job of explaining and showing us all the vehicle's options and capabilities. There really wasn't much deal making that had to be done. I had done my homework on comparing the wholesale vs retail costs of this and other similar vehicles within a 250 mile radius. This was by far the best pricing on this model vehicle that I could find. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership (and would highly recommend asking for Kiefer) the next time you are in the market. Thank-you Jimmy Mitchel Motors and THANK-YOU Kiefer Scroggins!!!!!!!
No like all the other car dealerships. - CaitlinG
My luck hasn’t been the greatest the past couple of months. It has been one bad thing after another. I was involved in a car accident, and my car was totaled out. I was put in a rental until the other persons insurance evaluated my vehicle. I knew the rental was only going to last for so long. I couldn’t let this car accident mess with my every day life. Therefore; I was proactive on the vehicle searching.
A week after the car accident, I went to look at a 2013 Mazda CX-5. I educated my self about this vehicle, I read the whole history on that carfax. I got to the dealership, none of the sales people chased me down. I actually had to go inside and ask for assistance. My salesperson was Mark Kleve, a wonderful man. The dealership just got the vehicle, Mark didn’t know everything about the it...which was perfectly acceptable. We took the vehicle out for a spin. I was sold!
So a couple days go by and Mark calls me. It was listed for $11,400. Not a bad price, even Kelly Blue Book agreed. Doesn’t hurt to try and knock the price down, right? Well... no budge. I was okay with that, because of KBB. Couple more days go by, and I kept finding myself looking back at that vehicle. I called Mark up, and told him that I want that Mazda. I advised him that my credit isn’t the greatest and I had no co-signer. What were my options? Mark got me in touch with their finance manager; Kim. Straight out of the gates, Kim was awesome. She was very helpful and acomadating. I put a little money down to hold the vehicle, giving the insurance time to write a check. The insurance did everything wrong and it took a few weeks to get the check.
Kim and Mark were easy going, helpful, understand, and not pushy. They made this process more pleasant, thank you. And thank you to the Lou Fusz, for holding the vechine for much longer than promised. I will refer your business to everyone and anyone. Thank you! I’m so glad I got to take the Mazda home today!
A Great Service Experience - clarinet guy
I have been a "car" guy all of my life. I turned 70 this year and have owned 38 cars up to this point, most of them European. I was introduced to the "Mazda Experience" late in life when we purchased a 2009 Mazda 6 for my wife at Reliable Mazda. When I realized that a Japanese car could be fun to drive
I eventually purchased a new 2014 Mazda 6, and really fell in love with the car. My only regret was that I didn't get the Technology Package on that car. So I talked my wife into letting me trade her car in on a new 2015 Mazda 6 with the Technology Package, gave her my 2014 and kept the 2015 as my ride!
She is a very understanding woman!
Recently I was tempted to consider a trade on my car for a used Jaguar XF sedan with just 6,000 miles
on the odometer. I drove 125 miles to check out the car. I drove it on the highway and in town quite extensively, and realized that the Jaguar was just not as MUCH FUN TO DRIVE as my Mazda! Yes, it was
a superb car, with a nice ride, good steering, looks, inside and out, but it just did not have the "athleticism" of my Mazda, I realized I really did not want to give up my car! I think the only way I
could enjoy driving any more, would be to trade my Meteor Grey Mazda 6GT in on a new Meteor Gray MX-5 Miata GT. Now that sounds kind of exciting, except my two small dogs would miss the back seat!
On the way back from that trip my BSM system went on the fritz and so I took it in to the great techs. at Reliable Mazda, and Dan got me back on the road in great shape with all systems go once again!
Bravo Mazda for making such a great automobile, and for the quality care you provide through dealers such as Reliable Mazda!

Our salesman was Ted W.. He never was pushy at all . He gave us time to our self to look around with out him , which we were impressed on that . Over all we felt everyone is friendly and didn't feel like we were at a dealer ship that we have experienced in the pass . We drive 140 miles one way just to deal with them .
