1 Star — My Experience With Ciocca: A Transaction That Changed My Financial Future
My experience with Ciocca has been extremely disappointing, and I believe other consumers deserve to know what happened before trusting this dealership with a major financial decision.
In May 2025, my 2015 Ram 1500 was brought to Flemington Dodge for front CV axle and air ride suspension issues. The truck remained in the service department for over two months without the problems being resolved. During that same period, my 2019 Ram 1500, which was in my nana's name, suffered a major top-end engine problem and became inoperable in my driveway.
Knowing the situation with both vehicles, dealership management contacted me about trading them in toward a new vehicle and carrying the negative equity into a new lease. On June 28, 2025, my girlfriend and I met with management and salesman Jordan Sherman. After discussing our options, we agreed to a new 2025 Ram 1500 under what we understood to be a four-year lease. We believed this arrangement would allow us to resolve the situation and move forward.
My nana was supposed to be a co-signer, not the primary signer. Dealership management knew she was not physically present, and I was assured that signing on her behalf with her permission was acceptable. I relied on those assurances while completing the paperwork on a tablet.
On July 1, my 2019 Ram was collected from my home on a flatbed provided by Ciocca. That same day, Jordan texted me instructions to change my insurance address to my nana's address to get the deal funded, while stating that everything was still in my name. I have screenshots of these messages.
When I returned on July 14 to make the down payment, the finance manager and general manager told me additional documents needed to be signed to get the deal funded. I was assured the arrangement remained the same. Once again, I relied on their explanations and signed the paperwork, believing I was completing the same lease agreement. I was told the documents would be available online once payments began.
In December 2025, after finally gaining access to the vehicle paperwork, my nana and I discovered that this was actually a financed vehicle under terms we had never negotiated and that did not match our understanding of the original agreement.
I immediately raised my concerns with a sales manager, who promised to speak with the people involved and get back to us. That call never came.
After exhausting my attempts to resolve this directly, I had an attorney send a formal demand letter on March 16, 2026. I want to make one thing clear: I was not asking for money. I wanted the dealership to communicate with me and make an effort to correct the transaction so it reflected the agreement I believed I had made.
As of October 23, 2026, I have received no response to that letter. More than seven months have passed without an answer or meaningful communication.
What has hurt almost as much as the financial impact is feeling completely ignored after placing my trust in dealership management. I tried to resolve this directly, gave them opportunities to respond, and eventually involved legal counsel. Still, I have received no meaningful response. I wanted a resolution, not a prolonged dispute. I expected clear communication, accurate documentation, and accountability when I raised serious concerns about a major financial transaction. That is not what I experienced.
I have retained paperwork and text messages relating to this transaction. I strongly encourage anyone considering doing business with this dealership to obtain copies of every document, independently verify the terms, and never rely solely on verbal assurances.
Customers deserve transparency, accurate paperwork, and accountability. Based on my experience, I would urge anyone considering a transaction here to proceed with caution and make absolutely certain the documents reflect the agreement they believe they are signing.
