It actually took me a few months to figure out the vehicle that I wanted and to get everything together. I worked with the same sales person who was very understanding and went along with all of my detours. He helped me find a truck that I am very happy with that I probably would not have picked out to start with. The only reason I didn't give five stars was that there wasn't much selection at the time that I visited in used trucks. It was the best experience I have had with buying a vehicle.

Deceptive sales tactics and poor business ethics - Apeck21
I just moved to town and am in the market for a used truck purchase and had my eye on a 2014 Dodge Ram with ~44,800 miles on it that was listed on their website yesterday evening for $20,995. After performing my research and looking at the VIN and other dealerships, I gave this one a call at 4:15pm and again at 4:25pm and spoke with Larry expressing my interest to purchase the truck and if they still allowed people to take cars home overnight. He said only if there’s obvious interest in purchasing, and asked me if I could come in that day. I called my cousin who is an Albuquerque native and a local business owner to help me during my first car purchase from a dealership. We had a show to go to at 7:00pm so we had to reschedule to come first thing Sunday morning instead.
As soon as we get to the dealership, a salesmen named Raul greets me and I inform him of the truck I’m looking for that I’ve seen online already and he gets the keys while I wait for my cousin to arrive. It’s not until we are halfway through the test drive that we are informed the price I had been given already is not the actual price, and that he will have to speak with his manager... we find out the car is now listed at $8,000 more! This is after we drove down to the dealership and took the car on a test ride. We return to the dealership and ask to speak with the manager, Chris, directly. Raul proceeds to tell us it was not an in-house error and the result of a 3rd party doing’s error, and that the manager will not be able to honor the price.
We say that is ridiculous and sounds like some shady business practice going on. We suggest they honor the price and go after the errors and omissions policy of the 3rd party error then if there was a mistake on their behalf and make good on this. (If it was truly a pricing error and not a bait & switch) We ask to speak with Chris directly about the matter.
Chris comes in and then tells us it was he, himself, who made inputted the price, and now he has changed the price because he realizes it is under marker price, and he will not honor it at all. I would avoid the shady and deceptive sales practices of this dealership. I am consulting legal advice now in order to file a suit with the Attorney General’s office which protects Consumers with the “Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act“. This seems like an open and shut case of goading consumers to visit the dealership and bait and switching them to pay a higher price than they originally intended.

Oil change. After waiting an hour or so for a simple oil change the service counter girl and told me they could complete the oil change because the drain plug on my oil pan was stripped and couldn't be used and they could sell me a new pan for around $450.00. I knew this wasn't true because I always do my oil changes myself but wasn't able to at this time because of a back injury. If it was stripped it was ruined by the serviceBOY when he drained my oil. It had never leaked oil. I've been maintaining my own vehicles for nearly 60 years and this young girl was snottily telling me about her driving experience and was getting upset that "I was insulting her". I told her I wanted to talk to her Service Manager and when he came out from his desk he argued with me too and since the oil had already been drained he said it couldn't be driven out until it was repaired but would impound it there if I needed time to raise the money for a new pan. To make this short, I told them to put my old plug back into my pan and finish the oil change. He said he couldn't "ethically" do that but I was adamant and he finally agreed to do that if I would sign the invoice to the affect that they held no responsibility for my decision. I did that and Terra exhibited anger toward me as she took me to cash out. My oil pan has never shown any leakage before or after this event. I have to include that many Native Americans have told me of similar aggrevations, rude indifference, and unjustifiable fees with Tate's service. I am not Native. It was obvious that my experience involved the collusion of the service girl, her manager, and his inexperienced mechanic. I think their actions are intentional and should be investigated as a crime. CEO Tate what do you think?

We received a call from dealership: price, auto and trade in all in agreement We traveled 70 miles spent 5 hours there waiting. We were taken into room with finance person , door was shut. Then we were pressured for 2 hours to purchase extended warranty. In order to get out of room, we agreed. 5 hours for a quick deal. This is new auto, why? You will be sorry if you deal with Jack Key.
