They won't refund the money the owe me. - Matt
Purchased a vehicle in 2016. Traded in the vehicle in Oct. 2018.
Now, after we have traded the vehicle at another dealership, the will not refund the money they owe me on the mechanical and gap coverage that we had.
I took the required paperwork in to the Finance Manager, Troy Williams, in November, 2018 and he told me that they would process it and I would receive the refund in the mail. It's now July, 2019 and I have not received the refund. In April, 2019 I followed up with Troy and he told me they had not received anything and that I would have to call the warranty company and gave me their phone number. I called the warranty company and they told me that they had paid the dealership the money in Dec. 2018. On July 2, went into the dealer and I asked to speak with the Manager who immediately handed me off to Troy without letting me explain the problem. So, I spoke with Troy again and he told me that I am not entitled to the refund as it goes to the lien holder.
He then told me that they paid the lien holder in Nov. 2018. At that time, the lien had already been paid off, so, the money is due to me and at that time he told me that I would receive the money. As of today, the only exchange of money has been from the warranty company to the dealership. When I asked Troy to show me documentation about the money transfer or payment he rudely refused and told me that I was going to have to go after the lien holder to get the money.
The manner in which I have been treated with this company leads me to believe that this is a standard practice of keeping the customers money and denying they have it until the customer gives up. I am going to make one last attempt to work with the dealership to get my money.

I went there to look at a Hyundai they had offered at about 9000.00 upon arrival I was informed that car was being sent to wholesale or something but wasnt available.i believe that is called bait and switch. So I found one similiar I liked but it was red and had some pretty bad dings and scratches in the paint .so I agreed to take that car if it was able to be fixed prior to purchase.company agreed. But tried to charge me for the car then it was offered online.they agreed after my refusal to honor the online price.so I did all needed paperwork and off I went. The car was to be brought back to be fixed .I dropped off the car and when I was told it was done I about freaked out to see the horrible paint fix they did to my car.it looked like someone had used a colored pen and filled in the scratches.the manager was contacted and he even agreed the fix was awful.so I left my car again and waited another day to have the car fixed correctly.next pick up car looked good much better .now on to the next issue the finance manager david is completely incompetent and the company knows it as each person I spoke to about him agreed saying we know he is hard to work with.he asked me to take the car to deq and I would be reimbursed for the fee.it is 2 months later and after several calls I am still waiting for my check.my license plates were to be sent to me and I did not recieve them until I had made several calls to several people as they did not listen to me and tried to use my physical address when I had expressed that I do not recieve mail at my home.i had to contact david several times and each time he tried to pass me off to someone else or lay blame with the person who handles the title stuff.there is more that happened as well but I will just leave it at this the company should get rid of david the finance guy as he doesnt have a clue what he is doing and as far as I'm concerned the only person there even worthy to deal with is rick the salesman he was honest helpful and didnt try to persuade me at all.over all this is not a company I would purchase from again and like I said still waiting on my check and finally recieved my plates..if I could give 0 stars I def would .
