This is the ONLY place you need to go to service your Volkswagen and Carl is the man to see!! I’ve visited all of the Volkswagen dealerships around and Armstrong is hands down the BEST to visit and I have so much confidence and trust in Carl after my most recent visit. I had a recall and a kind of major general maintenance done and not only did they complete the work a lot faster than expected, the quality of care they put into the vehicle and making sure I was communicated with was top notch. I was willing to spend whatever they recommended because I knew they were 1) looking out for my safety and well-being of my car and 2) I knew it was going to get done RIGHT! Skip going to unreliable third party shops and just go to Armstrong even for the basic stuff, they take care of you and specifically Carl! He promised to take care of my car and could sense I had major anxiety when it came to servicing my vehicle and he made sure to follow through with his promises. As a woman, I never felt pressured to spend money on additional services that were recommended, I was spoken to like a human being and explained certain things I wasn’t knowledgeable on. Before the service, Carl explained to me what was going to happen to my vehicle, a time estimate and a cost. No surprises at all! Mike was also a great contribution to the experience! He was very friendly and easy to chat with, you could tell he and Carl worked well as a team on a Saturday - they were holding the service fort down. I’m so thrilled with my experience and I can’t say that enough - I’ve finally found a service advisor/manager I can trust and build a rapport with for all the services to come. Thank you, thank you, thank you Carl and Armstrong Volkswagen!!!

Overall service and quality of repairs were good. They were able to price match another mechanic, and reduce the cost by about $1,000 due to re-diagnosing what the other mechanic had reported. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is I feel they were a little slow to relay information and took an extra day to get everything done over the course of having the vehicle for 10 days.

I got a call from their services department a few days after they completed an electrical repair on my car. They told me that additional parts had come in that they needed to install to complete the job. They made no mention to me when I picked up my car the first time that the job was incomplete, and they didn't know there were parts uninstalled until they arrived in the mail (red flag 1). I left my car with them for the day, and asked for a pickup at 5:30PM that evening, which they agreed to. The called me at 4PM to confirm the 5:30 pickup, which I appreciated. Between 5:30 and 5:55 (when I was actually picked up) I had to call twice to inquire about my ride (as I'm standing on the street in 27 degree weather). They tell me he'll be there soon, but offer no concern for the delay that it's caused and are not proactive with me in communicating the delay (red flag 2). I get in the car and the driver has no idea how to get back to the dealership. He drives 10 minutes out of his way until I stop him and tell him to follow my instructions to get to his dealership (red flag 3). What should have been completed in 10 minutes took 50 minutes of my time. In return, they told me they'd give me 15% off my next service (red flag 4). Why would I ever return to their overpriced service department after such a terrible experience? Don't try and offer someone an apology by forcing them to spend more money with you to get the benefit. Take your money elsewhere if you'd like to be treated with respect.

Let’s just say this dealership is the “Diamond in the Rough”. Had the most humblest experience working with the whole crew at MVW!!! Ya, treated us like family and made a young girl so so Happy buying her first car. If you have a young adult looking to get into a great car and have a transparent experience and full of honesty. Go see the gang at McMinnville Volkswagen!!!
Not a great service - A customer
I drove 3 hours today to test drive a car - that btw I had asked to see 2 days ago but was "too dirty to be tested" - and when I arrived I was told that the car had been sold this morning. They had my number and were happy to text me to see if I was interested but not to prevent me from going all the way there. I would not recommend.

This is the second time I tried to buy from them an used/certified Volvo XC60.
Of course, we didn't end up buying from them even the first time, the reasons are obvious ~ their unethical business model.
I was interested to see/test drive a vehicle this time that had still not arrived in their shop. In the morning of the day, spoke with the salesperson and fixed on the time for my visit. He texted me the details and confirmed my appointment. A few hours later while I was heading to their shop, someone else called me and informed that the car was already sold. I reached the shop in the next fifteen minutes and was told the same and that they couldn't do anything!! It didn't matter even though confirmed/promised/texted to show me the car. Note I was going to be the first one to look at it as I was a serious buyer. All they cared was money. They got it from someone else and so they automatically ignored me. Such is their arrogance or you may call ignorance!! They lost my business as well as all others whom I told about this double-faced business model. They are very unethical and have no value for their own words.
Unorganized Service Dept - Vdub
Service department is disorganized and fails to follow up and return calls. I called and scheduled an appointment for service, only to be confronted with a phone call AFTER I dropped my vehicle and key off with them asking why my vehicle was there. ??? Poor internal communication and management I believe is to blame. The techs seem good otherwise, just poor management and communication and poor customer service.
