First VW - Deephan
Aaron was great at providing us options and allowing us to explore them. Very chill and relaxed, didn’t feel pressured to buy the first time I went in, which made me feel comfortable compared to other places I’ve been to.

Excellent Purchase Experience - John012018
Salesman Lou Feiring listened to my desires and then found the right car for my needs. I am a out of town buyer and Lou made special accommodations to make the purchase with ease. Lou also has good knowledge of the product and communicated in a “no hassle” manner.

Nightmare Worthy Service Experience - CassieA
I took my car in due to the check engine light coming on and the diagnostic codes had pointed me to the O2 sensor. Which I know the dealership would usually be cheaper to fix that at. I was very shocked at what the technician said was actually wrong with my car.
I was told that my camshaft gear was failing and that the car was not safe to drive. I was also told that the O2 sensor was broken (as I thought). They gave me a repair quote that also included an 'urgent' need to replace my timing belt, flush every fluid I have, replace the brakes, replace the struts, replace the battery, and replace the radiator hoses. Totaling over $3500.
This didn't feel right and so I picked up my car (paid $121 for the inspection) and took it too my regular mechanic. He went through the entire list the Hyundai technician made and was down right appalled. Of that entire list only 3 things even needed to be done at all and only one was urgent. The O2 sensor needed to be replace (as I said at the beginning), my transmission fluid needed to be flushed soon and my timing belt was up to be replaced based on my mileage but it was not urgent.
The camshaft gear had no problems, my car was not 'UN-drivable' or 'unsafe' to drive as the service department said.
Upon further inspection I noticed that my mileage was not recorded right on the repair estimate. It is over 30,000 miles short of my actual mileage. I highly suspect this is not my car. Yet I paid for an inspection for someone else's car that looks like (from the quote) is ready to fall apart. This is a very troubling oversight from the service department.
Very friendly and kind. - Jennifer13
The worker who was in charge of my car was very kind to both my fiancé and me. She walked us to the waiting room and offered us beverages. She was very kind. The service has always been wonderful here but she was extra special.
NEVER buy a used car here - td131
I don't usually write reviews, but my experience here was incredibly frustrating. I went in a few months ago to look at a car I'd seen online. It was a used vehicle with a few problems, but I wasn't worried as they assured me that their mechanics had looked it over. I ended up purchasing the car and within a couple months, I've spent nearly $1200 in repairs. The car is also currently at a mechanic where I received the news that it needs a new engine. I haven't even touched one of the problems that I knew about.
Then, I called and talked to a salesman who said that it was a salvage and I had signed something acknowledging that. I have a copy of what I signed, and it said as is/parts only, not salvage. When I mentioned that, he said they make sure to be really clear about it, but they didn't tell me that once (I wouldn't have been interested in a salvage car). Regardless, he said they wanted to make it right and could talk about trading it in. He told me to stop the work on the car and to come in to meet with him. I went in on a day that he wasn't there, but talked to another person who was aware of the situation. I reiterated my problem and he told me that what I could get back depended on what I traded for. I spent an hour and a half looking at and talking through options. Finally, the salesman took all the information in to the manager who said he would give me $500 for the car because he didn't want to deal with it. He even told me that if I wanted them to work with me more, I needed to repair the car and take down a review I put up a few days earlier. What a joke and a complete waste of time. I also find it incredibly unprofessional that the general manager was trying to manipulate me to improve his ratings. I'm incredibly disappointed in this dealership. I wasn't expecting a perfect car, but I expected so much more than this. They should really take better care of their customers.
Volvo not inspected prior to sale - thomas5575
With purchased mechanical insurance, my used Volvo cost me over 800 dollars for repairs. Main problem were struts that we’re not certified and damaged and ABS sensors that were glued on! I would advise that that you not spend your hard earned money at this dealer. Two weeks later still have not been contacted with anyone from this business regarding these serious mechanical problems.
They made me feel like I wasn't even at a dealership - Aaron
We made the drive out from Portland to buy a used Tiguan that we liked. I can truly say that it was well worth the drive. They are a small town dealership and treat you with great service. We worked with Richard on the sale. He, nor anyone else, was invasive or rushed. This was the best experience I have ever had buying from a dealership. We would be happy to highly recommend them. Thanks Richard.
Positive experience - Melanie
Though I wasn't able to purchase my dream truck it wasn't from the lack of effort from Devan and Shelby. The experience gave me a whole different look at the stigma with buying a car. I just can't say enough good things and recommend buying your next car from Kendal Volkswagen
