I’m extremely disappointed. I was lied to multiple times after speaking with Chase. My brand-new (bought April 28) 2025 Acadia (8-seater, 3rd row) needed a warranty repair. I was told on three separate occasions, that I would receive a rental vehicle equivalent to mine because this would take time to fix. Instead, I was given a 5-seater (Ford Escape), which does not meet my needs. I clearly explained that I have six people to transport. The response I got? Yes, this car is equivalent. Upon checking, the vehicle was not big enough. I went back and told them that it wasn’t going to work and Chase said well I’m sorry that’s what we have. I had no idea where to start this vehicle and a male came out to show me and then stated “We don’t even have to give you a car.”
If that’s your policy, then everything should’ve been communicated honestly from the start. Instead, I was misled. Worse, the rental car was dirty and they admitted they knew it was. I was told when I address that issue “yeah, it was just returned.”
The dismissive tone and lack of respect I experienced sealed the deal: I will never do business with any Russell Barnett dealership again.
