This was the best and easiest car buying experience! - mindyosterbur
Dwayne, Nick & Kari made the purchase of my 2019 Nissan Altima SR such a great experience. It was well worth driving the extra miles to Tullahoma to deal with such great people. I would highly recommend this Dealership and Dwayne Salts to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

Best experience I've ever had with great car salesman - Vietnam Disabled Vet
I traded for a new 2019 Transverse and purchased a 2019 Impala for my wife on different days. Tommy Poston absolutely went out of his way to make it pleasent and even funny experience. When I told him I was not happy with the way the Impala was cleaned up he personally washed the car himself. Also when we learned the Impala only had one FOB he purchased one from the parts department with his own credit card against my objection. Left Freeland Cheverlet feeling like I had made a new friend.

Kiante Young is the reason I recommend this dealership - pat
After driving a Nissan Leaf for 6 years I came to Carl Black Chevrolet to lease a Chevy Bolt. My husband and I were fortunate to connect with Kiante Young. He hadn't sold or leased a Chevy Bolt when we first met but he did a deep dive research on the car so that he could answer every question before we came back the next day. I've had the car for 1 year and discovered yesterday that the charger cord wasn't working properly. I left two messages with the service department. When I didn't get a return call, I called Kiante. He was on it! I was at the dealership 20 minutes later and within another 20-30 minutes I was back on the road with a new charger cord. He is professional, kind and even remembered who I was after a year. I've never had such a great experience with a Car Sales Professional. Carl Black Chevrolet will have my business as long as he's there.

A great place from which to purchase a car - Happycamper
Greg Travis was very helpful in finding the perfect car for me. He listened carefully to my requests and fulfilled them. I enjoyed meeting him and found him to be very pleasant. All of the employees I talked with were very friendly and courteous. The process of buying the car was enjoyable and I highly recommend Don Ledford Dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

Excellent!!! - cwbyjock
By far the easiest and most pleasant Truck buying experience I have ever had. Cole Garner was beyond what I have ever experienced in a sales person. He was very knowledgeable ,actually had the truck brought over from another location so I could test drive it. Customer experience of everyone at the 1106 E. Carroll St, Tullahoma location was excellent. If you are in the market for a new vehicle , I definitely recommend Cole Garner and Russell Barrett .
2018 jeep latitude buy expierience - vinniebondo
went to the dealer 0n august 20 2019 talked with a salesman named john left wanted to wait until spring 2020 to buy but saw a couple of jeeps on their lot. said if I was ready to buy I would be looking for something like thay had right in the front row. I usually despise dealership buys due to the lengthy time it takes to complete a deal. well this time from the credit check to my signature was about 1 hour amazing and I got a great deal from one of the local credit unions. I brought my wife back to pick up the keys and drive her new car home. got the car I wanted price I wanted to pay trade in allowance was fair, and my payment was 15 dollars off my target amount. great deal if another vehicle buy is in my future tarr is my place.
Stress free buying experience - Lisa1969
We bought a new Dodge Grand Caravan. They were very helpful and they worked quickly to get us the vehicle we wanted even though the banks were already closed for the day and we got there later in the evening. There was no pressure to buy a particular vehicle. We were treated with kindness and respect. Both Aaron, the salesman, and Josh, the guy over the financing department left us feeling well taken care of.
We completely recommend this dealership and we would definitely be a repeat customer.
Thank you, Aaron and thank you, Josh

Craig Neely always goes above and beyond expectations. Craig's knowledge and helpfulness set him apart from all others. Joey in the service department is outstanding and always exceeds my expectations.
Bait & Switch Scam - Ripped off
Champion sent me multiple flyers promising a deal on an oil change and tire rotation and safety inspection at a certain price but when I went in to get it done the price was different because they add on bogus charges for shop supplies and such when they're done. What a racket.
I have bought two brand new Chevy pickups from them but I won't be buying anymore vehicles there and I certainly won't be falling for anymore of their service scams either, I can guarantee you that.

Still in the market but wonderful experience! - GerryA
I am currently shopping for a new or used GMC Sierra 2500. I find myself very fortunate to have been working with Leisha Wilhoite at HBB in Fayetteville. I can say without a doubt that my dealings with Leisha exceeded my expectations. In fact it was the best experience I have ever had at any dealership and I have had many. She was extremely polite and accommodating. It is because of Leisha that I will return to HBB for this purchase and any future one.
Almost Died, No Joke - Dkorn
A Brush with Death.
I drive a newer Silverado truck. It was in the shop over 3 weeks for a transmission rebuild, warranty work. I drove the rental car that morning from Mexico Beach, Florida to Lewisburg TN. It was my Birthday and I had dinner plans with friends. I picked it up my truck, drove across the city, to Hendersonville. Parked, with the truck running, AC on, and talked on the phone 20 min. work related. My husband beeped in and I returned his call, as he is still in Florida. Soon, I notice my arms going numb and I’m beginning to black out. John was informed on want was happening. I get a high feeling and black out again. My words are slurred and I can barely speak. John yells at me to call an ambulance or walk across the street to my friend house. I somehow open the door and turnoff the key. Slowly I come back to life and walk across the street.
The next morning I realize I have an exhaust leak from the transmission repair. Carbon monoxide poisoning almost killed me, I’m almost positive. Following day I’m still not feeling not feeling well, I dropped the truck back off at the dealer. I drove across the street and spent the day laying around the ER. I now have over $1600 in medical bills. Lyon’s turned the claim into their insurance company and of course the insurance adjuster nor dealership will return my calls. My truck has been in the shop 6 to 7 times for transmission issues. The truck jerks like it did before the rebuild. The last time service refused to return my calls. I made a formal complaint to GM and the dealer called me within an hour to make an appointment. Horrible customer service, even after speaking with Richard the owner several times. I have a bad transmission and I’m out $1600.
Chevy Tahoe 2017 - Cedric’s TAHOE
Please Help fix my TAHOE issues! I have taken my 2017 TAHOE in twice for the same roaring motor noise coming from the passenger side when my heating and air unit is on. This is my only means of transportation and I can’t keep affording to leave it for the same issue. I purchased this vehicle new expecting not to have these type of issues so soon on basically a new vehicle. I have purchased the extended warranty and just would like to have this annoying issue taken care of.
Horrible Customer Service - AverageJoe
The absolute worst experience I ever had at a dealership. Salesman insulted my wife, the issue was addressed and I started over with a new salesman. Nice guy he talked to his sales manager and told him what I wanted. A few minutes later my wife and kids walk inside because it was 98degrees outside. And the sales manager is talking about a customer come to find out it was me. When I addressed the issue he said he was talking about me. Like it was ok to talk badly about someone. It was simply because I was having a hard time selecting the vehicle color and trim package. I would think it’s common when your spending 50k on a vehicle. I left I’d had enough they are just wanting to hustle you in and out as fast as they can to make a sale. I went to Mtn View Chevrolet and had the best experience in purchasing a new vehicle in a long time.
Bad Lemon! - gljacob1
I purchase a 2014 Nissan Sentra from Jim Keras Automotive Group 02/17/2019, I only has the car for ( 3 ) days before the Transmission went out, ok they repair that in ( 4 ) days, ( 3 ) more weeks the car begin to run Hot, they say it was the Thermostat, Not under Warranty, so I pay for that service, ( 3 ) weeks later it begin to ran hot again, they say it was the radiator, ok they repair that, ( 3 ) days I had to call a cab for work, ( 3 ) weeks later, it's running hot again, it was pick up again, they repair it.here I'am again waiting on my car for repair, it has been in the Shop for (3 ) days, waiting on an O-Rings, I will be contacting Lemon Law of Tennessee!! Oh by the way, I have never miss a car payment.
GMC Canyon - AMDykes77
Overall, great experience at Courtesy. They had several options of Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon models. I was able to easily test drive different trucks and ask questions about the trim levels. I purchased a 2019 GMC Canyon All Terrain, which I am very happy with. When I arrived to finalize the deal, my truck was parked out front, waiting and was in immaculate condition. Closing process was reasonably quick and hassle free.
Great buying experience! - Foodguy
My 2006 Impala with 178,000 miles had been a great car but I was in the market to replace it. I was looking for used or new but had not had much luck with other Chevy dealers. I reached out to Blake and he encouraged me to swing by the dealership. While not having much inventory on the lot he offered a new 2018 from one of their associated dealerships. I was skeptical at first but he was able to get me pictures of the car and the list of all features and options. We negotiated a painless deal and I was able to pickup my car tonight! My new 2018 Impala made my 2006 version seem like a no-frills ride - a lot of changes in 12 model years! I'm very pleased with the entire experience and look forward to many years with my new car! I highly recommend Rusty Wallace Chevrolet for your auto needs - top-notch!
Poor body shop workmanship - disapointed
My 2017 Canyon was unfortunately damaged by someone else's negligence. Kirk Automotive was recommended by my insurance carrier and since the truck was purchased from Kirk, it only seemed logical to have their body shop handle the repairs to the two drivers side doors. After their third attempt to make the repairs, they finally got the two doors straight. No more dents or wrinkles. Problem now is the doors no longer match the rest of the truck color. The painter and the body shop foreman both agree the color does not match and the cause is there are too many coats of base and intermediate color on the doors. Well duh, if the doors would have been straightened correctly the first time, maybe the color would match. Now their solution is to repaint the two drivers side fenders in an attempt to "blend" the paint.
Top Notch all around! - Carol H.
I rarely post reviews but feel compelled to do so regarding Volunteer Chevrolet’s service department. The reason I’m posting this review at this time is that I heard some folks were complaining about the length of time Volunteer was taking to repair their vehicles. In truth, it took over a month for Volunteer to start working on my truck but, as opposed to getting angry, I became curious as to why.
I started paying attention to the news and learned 50,000 Chevrolet auto union workers went on strike 9-16-19 so were unable to supply their dealerships with parts because they were busy picketing, as opposed to working. Consequently, it should be a no-brainer that no one can repair a vehicle without parts. I suspect Chevy mechanics and staff everywhere across the Nation were more than frustrated during this troublesome time.
Back in 2000 I bought a brand-new Chevy S-10 4x4 ZR-2 pickup truck right off the showroom floor. I love it now as much as I did then. For 20 years only ‘Volunteer’ mechanics have worked on my truck and, no matter what the problem was, they never failed to fix it.
The service manager, Paul, is a tremendous asset to this company. His coordination efforts are top-notch, as are his ‘people’ skills. Both of Paul’s qualities serve Chevy well. Under normal circumstances Paul has always scheduled my vehicle for repairs in a very efficient and timely manner. During the ‘strike’ he did his best to keep me hopeful that it would end soon.
The parts department has consistently gone above and beyond to find obscure parts for my now vintage truck. I understand Steve in the parts department is relatively new on the job but has already provided me with exceptional service. He seems to be very organized and has extensive knowledge as to parts for even older models and, to me, this is everything when it comes to the needs of my old truck.
Fortunately, some of Volunteer’s mechanics have the knack and know-how to work on older vehicles. It seems Ricky is one of those specialists and I really appreciate his having the knowledge and skill required to do the job. His skills are becoming rarer and rarer to find in this technological day and age and Chevy is lucky to have snagged him.
The strike was officially over 10-25-19 so Chevy is back to repairing vehicles. Volunteer Chevrolet has always done right by me and my truck and I’m certain there are a lot of other satisfied customers out there who feel the same. I give Volunteer the highest ‘star’ rating possible. 5+
Dont go here!!! - Staci
Bought a used car, within 24 hours check engine light came on. Took it to service supposedly fixed, only to have same problem 2 weeks later. Have called back and was told that I bought a project car and too bad. Very RUDE!! Please go somewhere else and do not make the same mistake i did.
Horrible - Dissatisfied
I bought a used car from this place. If they hadn’t of had the car I wanted in their possession I would of lost their number and never gone back. The salesman lie and make false promises. Said things would/were fixed that were not. Called back a dozen times and I can’t get anyone to call me back. The reception purposely provides a buffer to assist the salesman in avoiding you. The techs out back only try to make you feel dumb for asking about a problem instead of trying to fix or even just look into it. It’s one big scam to get your money. I will never go back to this place and will tell all my friends to stay away. Also they cleared engine codes that my local mechanic found after he did a scan. Very untrustworthy people and service. Think twice before you come here. Good luck.
