We just purchased a new Elantra yesterday. It is my son’s first car he bought himself. It was a long process. We went from dealer to dealer driving all the vehicles in this class. I think we drove the Elantra at least 5 times before making our decision. Our sales people Jessica Adams and Chris Duffy were patient and very low pressure. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. They answered any questions we had and assisted us when we needed it, but they also left us alone to look at and discuss the vehicles we drove. It was the perfect balance of attention. You can’t go wrong working with these two people. If I could give 6 stars I would. This will be my first stop when I am ready to replace my Jeep.

I called from out of state trying to locate a car my father had owned, that had been traded in after his death. I had very little information to work from, not even a vin. Richard and Kevin were able to locate all the vehicle information, and even contacted the current owner on my behalf. While the current owner is not ready to sell, they assured me the car is in safe hands. I couldn't ask for a better experience.
FALSE ADVERTISING! - SHamm
For starters, the dealership was advertising the car as "Just Arrived Photos coming soon!" That wasn't the case. I was told later, that Skagit Hyundai had the car since November and the owners wife was driving it, currently it had 1,300 miles on. To me that's false advertising.
Then, they failed to honor the internet price I received on the 4th of July, and the Hyundai’s incentive. I was also accused of blackmail in a text by the sales manager, Joe.
I called the dealership and explained my poor experience I had the day before. I asked the Joe if he could give me a good deal on the car because of what happened the day before and the misleading advertising. In return he asked, that I not post my poor experience on social media. Here I am. The sales manager never asked the price I was quoted the day before, I just assumed he knew, it’s the same company after all. The best price I was offered was $1,000.00 more than the price I originally received. He claimed that the first price included the discounts. Nowhere on the quote did it mention it included discounts. Hyundai was offering three different pricing options. When I called on the 5th, the salesman confirmed the price he had given the day before, and that I could add in the Hyundai incentive. He was going to talk to finance to see which incentive would be better and call me right away. He never called. Three hours later I called him, but he said the car wasn't on the lot anymore, someone was driving it as their car. I told him I was still interested even if it had a few miles. After all it said, "JUST ARRIVED". Again I never heard back from him, so I called on the 6th and was accused of BLACKMAIL by the Joe, the sales manager. This business lacks integrity, communication, and is just plain rude.

I will never purchase a vehicle here. I came in to see a specific vehicle on their website. Upon entering the show room, there was garbage on the floor where they asked me to sit to answer questions and seemed offended that I asked about cleaning of the chairs and table between customers. Also turned away from me while walking to talk, leaving this hard off hearing customer struggling to understand and asking him to repeat himself several times and asking him to face me while he spoke so I could hear was completely ignored.
The sales man didn't even introduce himself to me. I had to ask someone else his name. Bathroom was grungy. Customer seating area had a TV that was just circling saying it needed more info to play anything.
Worst Of all (to me) was the lack of Plexiglas screens for the tables where they met with customers and many people were walking around with masks half off or off completely. No hand sanitizer or cleaning products in sight, unlike the five other dealerships I've visited this weekend.
Final straw - after looking for the Keys for the vehicle I came to see because it was on their website for more than ten minutes, they told me it had been sent to auction. No apologies.

It was a busy day at the dealership, but we got the attention needed. Large inventory of gently used cars. We looked at several other car dealerships and found that Auburn Hyundai had what was best for us.

Doug's Hyundai has the most amazing staff. I purchased a Genesis G80 on April 5th from Leo Rojas, he was very informative, listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me just that. The process from beginning to end was quick, painless, and finance was a breeze! No pushy sales people that try to get you to purchase something you didn't want. I heard employees speaking multiple languages with other customers which is not something I've heard at other dealerships, so that's a bonus for those where English is a second language. The car itself was cleaned up and delivered spotless with a full tank of course. I would recommend this dealership and Leo to all of my friends and family!!
