I am filing this review regarding my experience with Bob Johnson Chevrolet Buick in Pulaski, New York.
Over the years, I have purchased four vehicles from this dealership because I believed they were a reputable business that valued honesty and customer service. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has completely changed that opinion.
I purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse in good faith, believing I was buying a vehicle with an accurate and properly disclosed odometer history. Years later, when I attempted to trade the vehicle, I learned it had an odometer discrepancy/rollback flag on the car fax, which has significantly reduced its value and made it difficult to trade or sell.
I was never informed of this issue during the sale, and was not provided an odometer disclosure documenting the discrepancy. Had this information been disclosed, I would not have purchased the vehicle.
After discovering the issue, I sent a formal demand letter to Bob Johnson Chevrolet Buick with supporting documentation, giving the dealership an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter. Despite providing a reasonable deadline, I received no response at all. As a longtime customer who has purchased four vehicles from this dealership, I found the complete lack of communication especially disappointing.
I expected much better from a dealership I had trusted for years. Instead of acknowledging my concerns or attempting to resolve the situation, they chose not to respond. I will now be taking other avenues to resolve this matter.
