Ordered my F-350 to my specs, and as soon as the vehicle was delivered, the sales team was on top of getting it delivered to me. When it came time for me to take delivery, which was pushed because of my schedule, the process couldn't have been easier. I was in-n-out in under an hour. Truly professional in every sense of the word.

I honestly cannot think of a single positive thing about my experience with this dealership other than the fact that they happened to have the car I wanted. Everything else has been a complete mess from start to finish. When I purchased my vehicle, I was told to leave for about an hour while they “detailed” the car. After getting home and actually looking it over, it was obvious that no real detailing had been done. There were streaks and marks from what was clearly a dirty rag (which the salesman later admitted), scratches and nicks that hadn’t been addressed, and the number “18” still written in Sharpie on the wheel. If this is their idea of a detail, that’s embarrassing. I ended up paying out of pocket to have the car properly detailed myself because they couldn’t do the job right the first time. When I brought this to their attention, they told me to send the invoice and they would reimburse me or offer FordPass points. Unsurprisingly, they chose to give me FordPass points instead something I have absolutely no use for. I don’t trust them to touch my car again, and I do my own maintenance, so this “compensation” was essentially worthless. It gets worse. After I submitted an honest negative survey, the sales manager reached out to me and attempted to bribe me into changing my review in exchange for more FordPass points. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how they handle customer feedback. Shortly after, I scheduled a recall service and was told it would take “no more than 5 minutes.” I showed up for my 9 AM appointment expecting a quick visit and instead sat there for over an hour, making me late for work. To make matters worse, they ran my freshly ceramic-coated and PPF’d car through their automatic car wash without my permission something anyone with basic knowledge of car care knows you absolutely do not do. Most recently, I attempted to use the FordPass points they pushed on me by purchasing a lifetime BlueCruise subscription. I was told by Ford to contact the dealership to complete the purchase. The salesman eagerly sent over paperwork, which I signed—documentation that clearly stated I agreed to purchase the service. Then suddenly, they backtracked and claimed it could only be purchased at the point of sale… yet I was never offered it at the point of sale. So apparently, I was supposed to ask for a service they don’t offer, at a time when they don’t offer it, and now a signed agreement means nothing? It’s completely contradictory and makes zero sense. If a signed document isn’t binding when it benefits them, it really makes you question what any of their paperwork is actually worth. Especially when I know multiple people who have purchased the lifetime BlueCruise subscription after the point of sale from both their location and their sister location in Kutztown. Between the poor workmanship, lack of accountability, misleading information, wasted time, and outright unethical behavior, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere unless you enjoy being misled, ignored, and inconvenienced at every step of the process.

I want to preface by saying, Brad seemed like a wonderful salesman. However, this dealership will never have my business. I had made an appointment to try out an explorer that had just come in. The price was reasonable, a little lower than the ones I had been looking at but still in the ball park. I tried it, liked it, went into the office to make a deal, when I was informed the price online was inaccurate. Okay, mistakes happen, that’s fine. The correct price was $13k MORE than the online price. Way out of my budget. They told me it was $41k but they’d give me a “deal” and it would be $39,900. Still not going to work for me. They tried to sell me on a lease which I wasn’t interested in, as well as sell me on another car that didn’t have the features I needed. I walked away frustrated at the fact I wasted my own time because of a clerical error that should’ve been checked when the appointment was made. The real kicker is, when I went to check on it again the following day, they had it priced at the “deal” they tried to give me. So, they tried to pretend it was $2,000 more than what they were actually pricing it at, and then try to sell it to me like I’m making out well on it. Disgusting and slimy behavior. Good luck to them trying to sell a car for $5,000 over the going rate. And only $6,000 less than a brand new, off the lot explorer. Stay far, far away. Do your research and know what the cars you’re looking at go for because they will try to rip you off. Lastly, women that go car shopping alone, don’t let these xxxxxxxx try to push you around.

Being new to the area I used Haldeman because of it's close proximity to my home. Discovering they had a valet service changed the game! Discussed my issues with service in person and scheduled service. They actually came to my home picked up my car and delivered it for absolutely no charge and no hassle. I had my car detailed as part of my service and it was like getting a brand new car delivered to my driveway! I am over the top happy with this dealership and will be a forever customer.

I was walking around while in Service and the Manager Dave Hetzel was very kind and professional. He talked to me for a little about a new F150 and I will be honest it piqued my interest. He got me with one of his team members and gave a thorough explanation of everything. They even appraised my car while it was in service, and gave me numbers that made sense enough to bring my wife back and see if she was good with it. All in all not what I was expecting from just a service appointment but I am very happy with the team at Fred Beans!

I am talking specifically about their diesel repair shop. I have a 2006 f250 6.0. My HPOP went out and I had them fix it. Their repair lasted a couple months until the brand new stand pipe started leaking due to a Crack from being over torqued. The truck had to be towed. The dealership found the cracked stand pipe, a nicked O- ring pn an injector dumping fuel into the crankcase and the number 4 injector totally failed (they replaced all of the injectors, the HPOP, the stand pipes and dummy plugs and the IPR. Costing $5000). The truck was down for 3 months while they hunted down all the problems caused by their faulty work. Then, over the past few months, I had the exhaust Y pipe to the turbo start leaking. Didn't think much of it until I started working on it. It turns out they didn't torque the turbo stand correctly so it started moving. The movement is what caused the Y pipe to go bad. Not I'm replacing the head gaskets. I don't think thays their fault, but they didn't torque the intake manifold correctly, so it's loose. They also didn't put the egr cooler support boot is, so that stated leaking as well. I also found many other bolts not torqued to specification. Some loose, some over torqued. This service center is a joke... and a bad one at that. If you value your time, money and your truck, stay far far away from this shop.
