Working alongside Jory, they diligently put forth great effort to accommodate the payments I was able to make without extending the loan and, absolutely no hidden fees. I Felt Valued. I felt heard and understood. - and I was treated with great respect. I was surprised at how efficient the process was and how quickly Kayla was able to work with me through all of my paperwork and even assisting me with my insurance needs! After the purchase was complete, Kayla spent an additional half hour with me showing me every feature in the truck, how to sync my phone, how the display worked and all of its features and guiding me through all the "bells and whistles" of my brand new truck. I recently had a disappointing experience with the service department at Missoula Nissan and feel it's important to share for the benefit of others. I brought in my 2015 Nissan Juke, which only had 38,000 original miles, due to what felt like transmission slipping. After inspecting the vehicle, the service manager informed me that the CVT transmission would need to be replaced at a cost of approximately $7,500. I was told this is a common issue with CVT transmissions and the miles do not matter as to when a CTV transmission will fail. Really, only 38,000 miles! As a potential first step, via voice call, they informed me of the transmission problem plus they offered to change the transmission fluid—for an additional charge—which I approved. When i picked up the vehicle, they nevver provided me with any quotes to replace the transmission. Unfortunately, the vehicle still exhibited the same symptoms after the service. Despite this, the car remained drivable, although it felt unstable and unsafe. A few days later, I received a follow-up call from someone by the name of Clay, at the dealership asking if I’d consider selling them the vehicle, which I declined at the time. Ultimately, I sold the vehicle to a private mechanic for $3,000. A few weeks later, I followed up with him, and to my surprise, he informed me that the transmission was not the problem at all. The issue was related to the fuel system, which had caused the car to enter limp mode. Once the fuel system issue was resolved and the computer reset, the vehicle was back to running normally. In total, I lost approximately $10,000 due to what I now believe was either a misdiagnosis or a failure to investigate the problem thoroughly. Given the dealership’s quick interest in purchasing the vehicle after their diagnosis, I can’t help but question their intentions. Based on this experience, I no longer consider Missoula Nissan to be a trustworthy or reputable service provider. I had previously considered purchasing a new vehicle from them, but after this incident, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I encourage others to seek a second opinion before authorizing any major repairs.

Ariel, Megan and mechanic Noah were all so kind and helpful and saved the day for us. My very pregnant daughter, two dogs, a truck full of baby shower gifts and myself had an issue with my truck and barley made it to Missoula after leaving Washington at 6am. They were able to fix our issue and get us back on the road with in a few hours. They were all so accommodating with our two dogs and very compassionate to our situation. It would have been a very spendy night if we had to stay over in Missoula. We can not thank them enough for their willingness to help. I'm not sure what we would have done if they didn't step up. THANK YOU!

Without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had at a car dealer. Went in to see about purchase of a new car and since they didn't have any, they pushed used cars on me. Salesman and finance person did not know the advertised price of cars. It was in fact a little odd and kinda scary how they acted. I wouldn't set foot in that place again or any dealership under the Butte Auto dealerships. It was comparable only to a sales pitch from the carnival people at the fair. very poor. Avoid.

This dealership has gone down hill since the passing of their owner Don Ovitt, a true car guy. You now have a a President in Dave Hull, that has never been a true car guy, he hires his buddies to do the work , while he vacations internationally. They ignore present and past customers; this used to be the place where people traveled for miles to buy a car especially ranchers as Don was a rancher from Montana. He no longer has a certified GM mechanic, the service department is a joke. The inside of Salmon River motors has been abandoned and filthy, the orginal knotty pine was painted and looks horrible. This was such a welcoming and great dealership twenty years ago; with Mulkey, Phil , Brent and Don selling and truly knowing cars. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Do not purchase a car at Elk Mountain. We bought a 2005 3500 GMC Sierra a little over a month ago. I thought I could trust them, because I knew the owner, Bob. I was told by Todd the sales person, "our mechanic checked this truck out and it is a very good truck." Based on what happened after we purchased this truck, there is no way that a mechanic checked out the truck. Before purchasing, I had my boyfriend scan the truck and look it over first. The scan came back good, but little did we know, the truck had been deleted and a different tuner had been installed. The codes coming back were from the original tune. The very next day after purchasing it the nightmare began. The vehicle was having issues, so we took it into Kolar Tire. They were able to bypass some of the installed tune and determined 7/8 injectors were bad. Bob, the owner, agreed to only pay for the injectors, but on the condition that my boyfriend do the 2 days work it took into installing them. We also agreed to pay for the new PCM it needed it, too. Unfortunately, because the truck had been deleted and a different tune had been installed, we lost considerable power after the PCM and new injectors were installed. I tried for weeks to get the name of the tune installed and was told that the previous owner said that he had left the control/programmer to the tuner in the truck when he turned it in to Elk Mountain and didn't know what the tune was. Todd said he would try to find the control in the shop. He couldn't find it. For over 2 weeks I tried to get this resolved and just got the run around. In the mean time, the truck has needed the following, which cost us a lot of money: drive train, water pump, hydro booster, front end work, transfer case seal, fuel pressure regulator and valve. We paid a mechanic to do the hydro booster and water pump ($1,500), and my boyfriend did the rest of the work (29 hours worth). Meanwhile, we had to cancel over $1,700 worth of delivery orders for his business. After 3 weeks, I was able to find a mechanic who could bypass the delete and install a new tune. I asked if they could at least pay for the $375 to install the new tune. This was over a week ago and I still have not heard back from them. We bought this truck for my boyfriend's business. In the last month, because of all of the repairs needed, we have lost a considerable amount of income on top of the $2,845 put out in parts/repairs. If we had to pay for a mechanic to do all of the repairs we would have put out an additional $2,775 for a total of $5,600.

I was very disappointed with the service at grimes. I did my research, looked up many possible loan choices & prices for the vehicles I was looking for. I saw on grimes motors website an add for a vehicle. I looked into the vehicle & financing through their website & through phone contact/email contact. Offered me different prices for the car. After receiving an offer of 11,700, I said that was too high, I was shooting for around 9500. Private party value for the car was a little over 9,000. It had low miles & it seemed fair but if they couldn't do swing it, that was fine I didn't need a car. They came back to me & said they'd meet me half way and do around 10,500. I said it was unacceptable & they said okay we'll work with it, just come in for a test drive the next day. I said okay I'd be in at 10 the next day. Next day rolls around and I showed up at 9:45 and I come to find out the vehicle is in the shop supposedly getting a headlight fixed. Well fine, I take the test drive, it goes pretty normal and I come inside to talk about pricing, they don't remember quoting me the half way mark. At this point most of my contact had been with the clearly short tempered and snobbish salesman named johnnie. Well they bring out the big boss & he comes in offering me roughly a grand over what I want to pay, back to the 10,500. I say no I can't do that and book is only over 9,000 and if you can't do that, fine. Well the big boss gets up in arms and says "we aren't a retail outfit, we don't sell things at cost" and also claims book is around 13. Well I called him on it and he goes into his office and brings out a sheet of paper that is a NADA suggested retail price of an excellent condition trailblazer. Not private party and not good condition. The vehicle had several things broken inside the car, it had a few knicks and scrapes, but was in overall good condition. Upon receiving the piece of paper, I was told "i Ican see we can't do business" and they started pushing in chairs basically telling us to leave. They even had the nerve to demand the printed out book value paper back. Later I was stewing over it so I once again looked up on it & faxed over a copy of exactly what I was looking at along with a note explaining that I wasn't pleased with the way I was treated. Well I get a phone call 5 minutes later & instead of apologizing, I get "Well my boss told me to call you." speech which means he wouldn't have called to apologize anyway. Then he proceeds to argue what options I put on to find that number. UNBELIEVEABLE. No appologies, just more arguing and more confrontation. If they had just said, I don't think this vehicle is in your budget, you want too low a price and suggested a lower vehicle, that would have been fine. Instead I get rude service from the bottom up and a pretty good sized headache. I did wind up purchasing a 02 trailblazer for the price of 7889 and it did have higher miles but I was treated fairly and with respect.

Very shady for how large this dealer ship is. SO many problems its hard to even list them all. First off the transponder key they gave me with the car looks like I got it at a garage sale, lock button missing. Spare key they included doesn't even work, if you unlock the door it sets off the alarm, if you try to start with the spare the anti-theft system shuts the engine off making it worthless. The car (2005 Dodge Magnum R/T) needed an alignment job when I test drove it. The salesman was nice enough to take the $200 off that the alignment would cost. When my mechanic was doing the alignment however they noticed that the cradle that the front end sits in was removed and put back in crooked, causing the car to go out of alignment very easily. When I approached them about it the salesman got defensive and said that it could have easily been missed. Upon getting a report of all the work they did to it after it was traded in, it showed they did an alignment, no notes about the cradle being out of whack. Which leads me to believe their inspection/alignment process is a joke, or the mechanic they had working on it did this. After bringing it back in to have their "head" mechanic look at it, they assured me that it was fine after he did yet another alignment on the front end(a record for a precious alignment job brings the total to 4 alignments done on the front end in less than 6 months). Other issues would be the fact that there was still dog hair from the previous owner in the rear area after they had cleaned it 3 separate times. The "MP3/CD" player wont play MP3 cds. The tachometer doesn't work. Between my test drive and buying it, a chip appeared in the windshield and a ding above the driver's door handle. I had to ask 3 times for the print out of the work they performed on the vehicle. And finally, because they shop around for financing, I started receiving financing rejection letters. Not something you expect to get after driving the car off the lot. In the end, I am very happy with my car, but very displeased with the customer service after the sale and would not recommend anyone buy from them. I know I certainly won't buy from them again.

Insulting - Edge

Way overpriced! It was insulting. Make sure to check NADA value before buying. This is the value you should be purchasing a vehicle at. It's what financial institutions and insurance companies base the value of a vehicle on. This is how they offer "high values" on traded in vehicles. I.E. if they are selling as vehicle for $12,000 and it's NADA value is $7500. They offer you $2000 for your vehicle. You get nothing long run. Still over playing on the vehicle and they get your vehicle for free. Not a place I'd want anyone to purchase from. You deserve better!

Used this dealership for Suzuki warranty work multiple times. Staff in customer service is rude & condescending. Staff in shop is incompetent. Took 5 appointments to get airbag problem fixed. One of their airbag "fixes" lasted <5 miles before light reappeared. Two appointments to get heater/AC fan fixed because they ordered wrong part. If there were another Suzuki dealer within 200 miles, I would never have used this dealership after the 1st visit. Avoid at all costs!

My truck broke down 2 weeks after purhase - BT

2 weeks after purchase, my truck broke down because they installed a new motor with bad/burnt injectors. Now have to spend thousands fixing the truck because of their installation.
