I will start this off by saying this is my second car purchase through this Ford dealership. My first vehicle purchase was flawless and the whole reason I went back to purchase a second vehicle. I purchased a Ford Explorer 2020 in February 2024. about a month and a half ago my transmission went out and after a bunch of fiasco and being told different things by different people I finally was able to find out that I did have the lifetime powertrain warranty and that I was covered. I took my car in June 30 give or take a day and they have not started the repair as far as I know as of now today’s date. I was told 5 to 14 days for a transmission repair is what it usually takes on average. I was told no loaner cars. They don’t have a loaner program anymore, but then I was then told that they would look into getting me a rental and would try their best to give me a rental or a loaner vehicle. well, so far I’ve not gotten help on either department and me and my fiancé and my two children have been using one vehicle and really don’t have the means to go and get a rental on their own as of right now, so therefore the dealership helping me out with this would have been a huge plus, especially with how long this is taken and all the crap that I’ve been told and had to endure through this process. I’m very unhappy this time around with the customer service and pretty much being told many things by multiple people there’s been a struggle to use one vehicle this whole time and to be told different things and different dates by individuals. *UPDATE* Well this morning I was contacted by Eddie from poway ford, and he ended up helping me and fixed the issues i was having. I appreciate him helping me get a rental and gave me the set completion date for my repair. I appreciate the extra effort to help come to a resolution time!

The window on my wife’s 2025 Lincoln aviator made a crunch noise and stop working (drivers door) . Needless to say we wer frustrated! Took it in to the local dealership to find out what the problem was. We went to the front service desk and talked to Jesse about our problem. He told us he would look into it and would let us know what the problem was. We dropped off the car around 7am. Roughly around noon he called my wife to let her know the car was done. They wer nice enough to drop off our vehicle at our house. Since it was a new car I expected a new part not in stock kinda service! Very pleased with the service provided by Jesse.

I contacted El Cajon Ford on 8/12/2025 regarding purchasing a new truck at the advertised MSRP. I got a text back from a salesman named Spencer Ciampoli who informed me that the advertised price was incorrect and was significantly higher. He refused to honor the advertised price then asked if I would like to buy a different vehicle. When I declined, he told me that a sales manager would contact me; I doubt that I'll ever hear from El Cajon Ford again. If you want an honest and competent dealer experience, look somewhere else.

I had a great experience at Sedano Ford. After waiting a long time for my special order to arrive - I was treated well by an experienced salesman, Victor Santana. He knew what to show me how my hybrid works while I was driving. The finance officer, Robert, a fellow Veteran, also showed me how my private financing was a better option than Ford’s own financing. I purchased a truck from North County Ford with 17k miles in late October. However, almost as soon as I took possession of the car, I noticed that there were loud squeaking noises coming from the braking system, which I did not notice on the test drive since we were not primarily in a parking lot, where the noise is most apparent. I then spent THREE solid weeks attempting to get ahold of someone, anyone who could talk to me about what kind of inspection had been done on the vehicle prior to being sold. I left a total of between 8-10 phone messages for the Sales Manager, Used Car Sales Manager, even the dealership General Manager who coincidentally were always too busy to take my call or return my messages. If I could’ve gone to the dealership, I would’ve, but I live out of state. Finally, I get ahold of a sale managers named Brad Triplett who confirmed that there was no record of the brakes having been inspected. He told me to take the car to my local Ford dealership to have them inspect and fix the brakes, so I did. Unfortunately the local dealership did not fix the entire problem at a first go. They replaced the back brakes, which were indeed low, and North County picked up the tab. However, the squeaking noise remained, and the local dealership had to replace the front brakes on a subsequent day. It was at this point, that the cowards at North County Ford, in particular sales manager BRAD TRIPLLET and service manager ALEX PEREZ decided that the fault here was with my local dealership and hence will not be paying to fix the brakes. Alex Perez in particular is an abject coward who refused to speak to me directly. Bottom line here, North County Ford sold me a practically new car, which somehow needed significant brake work the second I left the dealership. They told me they inspected the car to get me to buy it. Then they ghosted me for 3 weeks, and now is refusing to actually to help finish the repair. These people are sleazy cowards and I will never buy a car from them again, and you should not either.

YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO GET GOOSE BUMPS AT A CAR DEALER!!" This is what I told Brando after seeing the deal in writing at the dealership. We had discussed the deal 3 hours earlier over phone and I had to drive 2 hours to get there but because I've been damaged by every other car dealer, I was expecting the numbers to be different once I got to the dealership, as I read down the numbers, they were exactly as we discussed. Then it happened again in the finance office and I told Juan, "YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO GET GOOSE BUMPS AT A CAR DEALER!!" I mentioned to them earlier, before driving to the dealership, that I did not want to purchase any additional items for the vehicle. Juan had me out of the finance office in what felt like 20 minutes. "I GOT GOOSEBUMPS", from being thoroughly listened to by everyone including Elyse..., and then, Rufus, Brando and Juan following through with exactly what I asked for. "AMAZING!"
