Then decided to give my trade_in to my grandson. Back, on phone, to bargain a bit more without trade in. We agreed on deal and I arranged to pick up Raven, my new Prius. Saturday, my grandson and I drone over. I brought check book and met Sam at his desk. We talked, he showed me all the how too’s of running a hybrid. Then we talked to finance official. No problem as I was paying cash. But a big announcement came for the first time? I could get extended warranty for 100,000 miles for an Cyrus $1800. First mention ever Of this option. No second chance. Pissed me off! Why not Sam telling me about the option? Toyota decided that deception is better. I took the option because I can afford it but many cannot. Toyota deserves a negative grade for this deceptive act! MPG after 150 miles is listed on car as 49.5. Should I doubt? Car is lovely and I will drive her to MT soon.
