Overall the experience was a positive one. Mike Davie was outstanding, he was very responsive to my initial online inquiry and every request after that. After initial contact with Mike, it was a little bit of challenge getting a sales person to call me back, maybe because I'm out of state and they didn't know I was a serious cash buyer? Or maybe it was due to covid short staffing? Regardless, once Alon in sales got involved the process moved along pretty well. Upon arrival at Smythe I had some questions about how the car was serviced and I got honest, thorough, no BS answers from the service department (Mark I think?) which is what I expect from a Volvo dealership. David Diken also was outstanding, he clearly understands Volvos, has a passion for cars and also provided knowledgeable no BS answers to my questions. Other than the initial slow response from sales, the experience was a very positive one. I really enjoyed the 8 hour test drive back to NC in my pre-owned (but new to me) XC90! More
