Jim Buchanan sold me my first Mercedes 22 years ago, and whenever I see him he makes me feel like family. Doug Wells has continued with that warm and genuine friendship. After we discussed the children, we got down to business. I trust their honesty and judgment. Michael Laudani, in the service department, also always goes out of his way to accommodate me, and I look forward to working with him again in the future. Yesterday, I was introduced to Barry Martin, a sales representative, at Ray Catena. He told me when we first began speaking that I would be buying a car I had no intention of buying yesterday. Ironically, I had three months left on my lease and was just car shopping. I walked out of the dealership with my new E300 yesterday. Barry made the deal flow so smoothly. I drove home with my new car, and a service representative drove home with me to bring my old car back to trade in and he explained how my new car operates. Once I made the decision to purchase he went to bat for me negotiating the price I was looking for. And I walked out of the dealership with my new car 3 hours after I arrived! As for the dealership, it is some operation. I've never seen so many cars, and despite the winter weather the pre-owned car I bought was meticulously clean. More
