Hi Kevin, I e-mailed both Mr. Gamba and Ms. Krauzer on 4/28 with no response. This car has been in service three times within 5 months of ownership. Two times because it would not start and once for an unusable back seatbelt, which should have been dealt with before turning it over to me when I bought it. The battery was replaced, which I found odd since it was replaced in 2024 with the previous owner. The alternator had to be replaced this last time and on top of that, the car was damaged while at the dealership. All in all, about 15 days we have not been able to use the car. My daughter had to miss her driving test in this car, the car she was continuing to learn in, because the body damage had to be fixed. My regret is not having a third party inspect the vehicle prior to me signing papers and handing over a check. But I thought the car would be in sound shape coming from Smythe, who had serviced this particular vehicle over the years. I am currently researching another car for my daughter which would hopefully be more reliable in the first year of ownership and I also want to get out of the warrantee I purchased along with the car should I be trading it in anywhere. This is my experience and I'm not happy to have to go through it. Folks taking the time to read all the way through, unless the car is certified pre-owned at this dealership, get an outside mechanic to double check the car's status mechanically and otherwise before purchasing. I learned the hard way thinking all would be OK mechanically, at least for the first year of ownership which I'm still in.
