I went through the trouble of making an appointment to see one of their used cars that I saw them advertising online. Their online price was advertised on multiple websites as $20,523 + TTL. I set an appointment and make the trip to their dealership and thoroughly inspect the car. I see that the price shown on the windshield is $28,000 + TTL. When I questioned the salesperson Maria about this she says “after our dealer installed packages and market adjustment the price is actually over $30,000. I informed her that this was false advertisement. Maria really tried to get me to come inside to see if her manager could “give me a little bit of a discount”. I declined and Maria looked shocked when I just walked away. Two days later their Internet Director Carmelo Adorno followed up with me. I explained to him my displeasure with their bait and switch tactics. He then tried hard to sell me the vehicle at a price much closer to what was being advertised online. After I declined and informed him I’d never step foot in their dealership again he began very rudely talking over me. I asked him why he was talking over me and he said “because you said you wouldn’t come back to our dealership so this conversation is over”. I said yes, you’ve lost my business however I’m trying to give you customer feedback to use moving forward… and then he just hung the phone up. After that phone call we then went and purchased a vehicle from their competitor across the street. More

I have never dealt with a dealership like this one. If you couldn’t accept my offer simply tell me and I will buy elsewhere. Totally unprofessional and unresponsive. Just be honest and upfront. When they did, they told me one APR and at the moment of signing it was different, then they told me it was his mistake because he told me the promo APR but there’s no guarantee I’d qualify for it. In the end I was given the promo APR but the whole experience with the finance team feels like a shark loan experience. Why can’t they just be open with all the info and packages upfront? I just don’t understand that approach, they just put a horrible stain on the great job the sales team did. More

I have lived in richardson and in near by town's from the mid 1960's and never heard any thing bad about Toyota of Rockwall during that time. Rockwall is not in Dallas County, so the county tax paid didn't g mid 1960's and never heard any thing bad about Toyota of Rockwall during that time.
