This repair shop had my car for over 2 months due to needing to replace a part that was damaged by them during the course of repairing the issue I took it in for. During these 2 months, communication was minimal and almost always had to be initiated by me. I was never told a timeframe for how long the repairs would take, only told “it will be a little longer” every time I asked. On July 21st, I was told that my car would be ready “in the next day or two.” Then I did not hear anything for another MONTH. At that point, I had called multiple times and left messages that were not returned with several people before finally someone helpful got back to me. My car was finally ready a few days later. There was a miscommunication about the price vs what I had been quoted, and if I had not still had my original quote from over 2 months before, I would have probably been stuck paying the extra $1100 they wanted to charge me. I did eventually get my car returned at the price I was supposed to pay. It is also worth mentioning that, despite my car being with them for so long due to their own fault, I was never offered a loaner vehicle. If I had not had another car of my own available to drive, I would have been stuck paying thousands and thousands in rental car fees. I would not do business with Southern Team under any circumstances. This was an extremely unsatisfactory experience that I paid thousands of dollars for the privilege to have. More
