Jamie, I received your review on DealerRater concerning your recent visit for wheel repair under your wheel warranty. I understand that during that visit you were provided a loaner vehicle which experienced a flat tire due to a road hazard tread puncture while in your possession. I know that had to be frustrating. Tire damage due to road hazard falls under the terms of the rental contract signed when the loaner is released. Unfortunately, it can and does happen on any paved road surface, including even parking lots. AAA simply plugging a tire punctured in the last outer tread row is not only an industry standard, unacceptable tire repair, it is very unsafe. The only correct way to address such a puncture is to replace the tire. Because the loaner is a brand new vehicle still under factory warranty, it had to be replaced with the matching, original equipment tire. I understand dealing with a flat tire and the unexpected cost of replacing it was definitely not what you had in mind that day. I appreciate your cooperation in getting it resolved. It is my hope that this unfortunate situation has not caused you to lose faith in our dealership. Your business is extremely important to me. Your satisfaction throughout your vehicle ownership is always my goal. Inspecting the rental vehicle before taking possession is a courtesy to the renter. It does not alter the responsibility for any and all damage, including tires, which the renter accepts at time they sign the rental agreement. Every effort has been made to provide prompt, professional communication. I again left a voicemail and text message with you yesterday, in an attempt to discuss this matter with you before posting a public response. They were unsuccessful. To date the credit card you provided at the time of rental has been repeatedly declined, leaving the tire replacement charge still unpaid. Dale Boreing Service Manager
