Unprofessional Representation On Dec 4, 2016 around 3:00pm, I visited Universal Hyundai at 12801 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32837. This was set up with Camillia Vasquez, On Dec 4, 2016 around 3:00pm, I visited Universal Hyundai at 12801 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32837. This was set up with Camillia Vasquez, Sales Concierge. I agreed to a visit provided she understood and relay the important fact that I was currently limited for time and could not stay long due to prior commitment. When my wife and I got there, we were greeted by Mr. Hector Riquel (I believe sales manager) and presented me to Sales Consultant Raul Martinez who would be attending us. Mr. Martinez was all professional and very respectful to my wife and I. His knowledge was very helpful as towards my eventual decision between other dealers and brand. Two hours later and several attempts to a price agreement, my time came up in which we needed to go for our prior commitment. This brought up sales manager Hector Riquel in which his immediate aggressive sales approach was not appropriate as my wife and I was held back. Despite me letting him know that first I needed to leave, as I was going to be late to my commitment, he continued to ignore what was currently more important to us at that moment. There, his aggressive sales approach escalated trying to pressure me to make a decision in which I said several times by now that I will not make a decision now, but will get back to them. Nevertheless, he continued to the point of frustration, where he then stood up and abruptly snatched the papers from the desk, no courtesy hand shake or proper customer service etiquette towards me or my wife and stormed away. I can not express how this behavior bothered my wife and I so much, that unfortunately as we walked out it was Mr Raul Martinez who got our complaint towards this distasteful display of managerial representation. Leaving the showroom, outside, Mr Martinez quickly apologized for his behavior; as he was very aware of what had just happened. As a Veteran and retired from the federal government after 34 years, I know very well the importance of a proper representation. Mr Martinez, conducted himself in a professional manner that any company would be proud of under a situation like this. However, your sales manager Hector Riquel, with his deeply disrespectful attitude and moreover, unprofessional behavior has shown my wife and I, a side of Universal Hyundai that we do not want to leave our money or recommend. They need to be more accessible and answer their phones and/or returning calls instead of directing everything to voicemail. I understand that they're giving the necessary attention to clients that are present closing sales at the dealership, however, they also need to take care of the clients that have already closed the deals. With the exception of Mr Felix Matos, who was the only FM that took the time to return my call as soon as he was available, nobody else from the FM dept had the courtesy to attend my questions until I went to the dealership in person. With that said, Hector Pell, Hector Riquel and Felix Matos were fantastic and made the purchasing process very pleasant. I'm very grateful for their professionalism. More
