This was the third request for a survey. I did not want to do another survey for this dealership but since I still did not get any courtesy call from anyone from this place so I thought I s I did not want to do another survey for this dealership but since I still did not get any courtesy call from anyone from this place so I thought I should. I was told that my car was not covered under extended warranty for valve cover gasket. Both GM and the service manager were extremely rude and hung up the phone while I was trying to explain to them that it should be covered under diesel extended warranty. VW of America called me and admitted that the dealership was wrong and I was going to get a call from this dealership to have my repairs done under warranty. I never got a call. This shows how much they care about their jobs and how much knowledge they have about VW warranties at this dealership. I would still be ok if I would get an apology call from the rude GM. From the way he talked over the phone , I can tell he would never admit he was wrong even though he was 100% wrong... I am not sure how they will be able to lead by example at this place when the leadership does not know how to talk to a VW customer. Their poor excuse was that they did not sell me the car to me and they did not service it. However, they forget that they have to honor the VW warranty and treat the customer with respect. I am so grateful that VW of America acknowledged the issue right away and made it right. They were very polite and apologetic. More

The Service Department supported by the General Manager has no integrity. These are dishonest bullies that treat customers horribly. Service Manager made an offer to test my car at no charge to me for a we has no integrity. These are dishonest bullies that treat customers horribly. Service Manager made an offer to test my car at no charge to me for a well-known defect regarding excessive oil burn. Then when I showed up to my appointment, they wanted to charge me over $200. I expressed that I was being taken advantage of and that was not the agreement. The treatment I received from the advisor and the sales manager was appalling. After being berated by the service advisor, the sales manager refused to honor his agreement, lied to cover his mistake and accused me of trying to take advantage of THEM. The general manager expressed that if I had purchased my car from him, he might be willing to help, but since I didn't, he has no obligation to me. Dear customer: You do NOT deserve to be treated this way. Do not stand for this. There are other dealerships within a short drive. Do not give these abusive swindlers your money. They think a manufacturer defect that puts excessive carbon emissions in the air and cost you extra money in maintenance is only limited to people under a warrantee. It's a good thing my life isn't riding on this defect, because I couldn't trust them to do the right thing. Would you trust them? More

If I could give zero stars I would! I waited a week for an appt. for an oil change and tire patch. I waited in there 5 hours total. They didn't do even do the full oil change service when they claimed th an appt. for an oil change and tire patch. I waited in there 5 hours total. They didn't do even do the full oil change service when they claimed they were done. They had to take the car back in to rotate the tires and do the fuel injector cleaner. When they called me the next day to ask about the service I told them what happened. I was told the service manager would call me. I waited a few days and didn't hear back so I called and left him a message. He called me on a Saturday full of excuses, which did not surprise me. What did surprise me was being basically called a liar when I told him I didn't think waiting for 5 hours for this type of service is acceptable. He didn't say the word liar but he told me he didn't believe (same thing)! As for the blown tire patch that left me stranded...I probably ran over a nail when I left there. No apologies whatsoever! I have written to the GM with no response as well. This is just bad service all around. More

The lack of professionalism of this employee is unbelievable. He takes after the general manager, Jared Dively wo is unfit for his role. It just goes to show how a poor leader can impact other employees. He will raise his voice and disrespect customers. His attitude and personality bring shame to the VW brand. There's no need for disrespect, you're in a service role. I can say, I have personal relationships with other employees of the dealership and can vouch for them, but I cannot recommend Lakeland VW based solely on the downfalls of this individual. He lacks customer service skills and needs training. More
