Bought a used car, felt like I "New Car" customer I traveled across two states because The BMW Store had a somewhat rare used car I wanted and I was having a hard time finding one closer to home. I was nervous about purchasing a car "sight unseen," but John assured me the car was in great shape, but I'd probably need tires soon (100% correct and truthful). John even drove to the airport to pick me up. I found one minor problem with the car (broken hinge on one of the storage compartments), and the service department fixed the problem while I was finishing up the paperwork. I also needed a front bracket for my license plate and they had it installed in a matter of minutes. I also appreciated that John was up front about the vehicle I was considering trading in, and told me I'd probably get a better price to sell it on my own. I've never purchased a new car before, but John and the team made me feel like I was buying a brand new $80,000 BMW. They topped off the tank with Premium Fuel, detailed the car, and gave me some free BMW swag from their gift shop. Jemar in the finance department had all the paperwork finished up while I was on my test drive and answered all of my questions. Since I would be registering the car in a different state he helped guide me through that process. I was very happy with the overall process, the price of the car was fair, and lower than any other similar cars in the country. I would be happy to do business with The BMW Store in Cincinnati again. Weak Customer Service I was attracted to a certified used car advertised in the auto trader. There was a discrepancy of $1,000 between the sticker and the advertised price. My salesman, John Beam was courteous, but he said that BMW has nothing to do with what autotrader prints or advertises. The car was less of a value than I had expected but I went through with the purchase anyway. It was my hope to get the dealership to take the money I overpaid and make a donation to Children’s Hospital in that amount. Up until I signed the paperwork that seemed like a discussion they were willing to have. Radio silence on that front since. As another reviewer pointed out Jamari DeBose comes off as arrogant in a way, disinterested and aloof in other ways. He could smile, but maybe he hates his position. God help you if you have to speak with Brooke in service. She is immature, ill mannered, curt, and lacking in most skills an employer would desire in front line customer service. Service is expensive and slow. More

“Good and Not So Good” I bought a 2015 X1 form this dealership. The salesperson John was very good. He was courteous, respectful, and very honest. However, I cannot same the same thing about the business manger. This guy spent a long time trying to sell me all this extra service contracts. He was somewhat arrogant and acted and talked as if I was lucky to be there buying a car from him. He tried to discourage me from ever taking the car anywhere other than their service department. He acted as if I was some idiot who had never driven a “Luxury Car” before. ( I worked for years as an automotive engineer and have owned Lexus and Audi’s in the past ). He talked about the great service that they have in picking up the car for service from customer’s home and bringing it back but never once did anyone even offer to help me get the car to my home. I am somewhat disappointed. More
