My fiancé had a plan to assist me in car shopping and be done by mid day with an ultimate decision. Most times plans don’t end up how you intended. Luckily they didn’t. We ended up stopping in Schaumbur done by mid day with an ultimate decision. Most times plans don’t end up how you intended. Luckily they didn’t. We ended up stopping in Schaumburg to test drive specific trucks, we were at a Ford dealership, Chevy, Toyota and had the favorites list, F150, Silverado and Tundra… there was some issues with lack of inventory. Or do I do an order and wait months. As evening time approached with still no decision on what I wanted. My fiancé thought it would be a good idea to go look at Fords again since the F150 was still the one I enjoyed the most. We figured “Golf Mill Ford” is close by the house let’s do another test drive. I knew that If I landed on a truck that I wanted that I would work numbers and take the car. Usually, I do a lot of planning and research… with my fiancé she is more of a “know your car and let’s make a deal”… from the moment Issac walked up to us we informed him of what we needed and the terms. Issac is extremely personable, funny, genuine and just an overall unique individual. Issac makes you feel like family. We definitely enjoyed our time which is not usually how you feel at dealerships. Now, what is a fair price? Relatively speaking fair is a concept as to “do I feel comfortable with this deal” I informed Issac and Frank what I needed and where I wanted to be… they achieved that goal, if there was profit then Issac absolutely deserved it… within reason haha, he knows our humor. Issac also introduced us to “Frank” the sales manager who was a straight shooter just extremely polite and likable person. The finance manager Jon was also exceptional to deal with. Sometimes you wonder if the rug is going to get pulled off from under you because you overall have this stereotype of how it is when you’re buying a car. Some dealerships fit that stereotype. I hope to have a long relationship with “Golf Mill Ford” and ultimately refer customers over to them. Thank you for the hospitality! Karl & Jennifer More
