I feel obligated to warn others about my experience at Garavel Subaru in Norwalk, CT was so outrageous. I was contacted by Santiago, who repeatedly assured me in writing that the dealership would honor Garavel Subaru in Norwalk, CT was so outrageous. I was contacted by Santiago, who repeatedly assured me in writing that the dealership would honor a $15,000 offer for my 2022 Toyota Camry SE once my title arrived. His exact words were that the offer “still stands until the end of the month” and the process would be “quick and easy.” Based on that, I drove twice from New York City to Norwalk, trusting their word. My car was unregistered and uninsured, but they told me it was fine to come as soon as I had the title. That trust was a huge mistake. When I arrived, everything changed. The tone went from friendly to cold and arrogant. Suddenly the used car manager, Logan, who personally appraised my car for $15K the first time, was “not in.” Then, when they finally got him on the phone, he acted like he didn’t remember me or my car at all — completely unprofessional and smug. They refused to honor the written offer, claiming they’d have to reappraise it again. The staff was condescending, dismissive, and acted as if wasting my time was normal. Garavel Subaru is worse than the typical Queens Boulevard dealers — at least those places are honest about playing games. Garavel hides behind fake politeness, but once you show up, they treat you like you’re beneath them. I was misled, disrespected, and lied to. Avoid Garavel Subaru. They have zero integrity, zero accountability, and total arrogance. More
