Had both rear tires leakin Tire issues.I hate technology that makes you pay $$$ for some piece of plastic that is designed to break. Not tech's fault. Had both rear tires leaking air. Of course, not a quick or inexpensive fix. Had to install fit kits, TPMS is a pain in the xxx. Of course, one is corroded and broke which is the target, to make sure something breaks so we have to pay out $$$$ on stupid stuff. I don't mind paying for a real repair on a real part, but this is ridiculous. I would rather check my own air pressure than to have this expensive computerized, man designed to fail frills on my truck. I opt for a low tech vehicle. Would Toyota please make me a nice low tech truck? Not bad ideas but the xxxx sensors are getting to be a pain in my #@*. All I do is pay big bucks to replace sensors that monitor everything on that vehicle. Most of this stuff is either faulty, too sensitive, gets corroded, moisture, whatever! It needs to be able to be by-passed somehow if the owner doesn't want it. The service staff is very honest and helpful and explains things well and even showed me what the problem was. With the price of parts, labor, and fees and tax, I could have bought 2 new rear tires and all I did is replace valve stem and a stupid sensor and all the labor to tear down the tire, wheel, install, replace. Yuck. More
