My wife and I visited Salem MB to look at a GLA 250 model they had just received on a trade-in. Sales person Abel was great to work with and we liked the car. Asked for numbers and he talked to the finance they had just received on a trade-in. Sales person Abel was great to work with and we liked the car. Asked for numbers and he talked to the finance manager (Gentleman with grey ponytail). Mr. Ponytail told him to tell us that car should have been priced $3,000 higher and that they would increase the price of the car in the morning. We asked that since they had quoted our price would they guarantee. He said they would if we bought it now. It was 6pm and they closed at 7pm. We asked is we could sleep on it and let them know in the morning. Mr. Ponytail told Abel to tell us NO. We did not appreciate the strong-arm tactics and left. We went to Wilsonville MB the next day and purchased a GLA 250 and just "love it." Wilsonville MB understands that deals are based on relationships unlike our experience in Salem. Plus Wilsonville has a great barista lady that serves hot drinks (such as espresso), and non-alcoholic beverages, and great snacks. It is the small things folks. More

Usually one goes into an automotive dealership to buy a new or used car with a bit of trepidation... I certainly did. I was greeted by Bernardo in the lot (as usual) but never felt pressure or pushed. Bern new or used car with a bit of trepidation... I certainly did. I was greeted by Bernardo in the lot (as usual) but never felt pressure or pushed. Bernardo asked me some questions and pretty quickly showed me the car that was the perfect fit for me. I was pretty much sold. Then we moved into the anxiety stage. Going into the “room”. The back and forth with whoever the mystery sales manager is. Negotiating a price, terms etc. Except this time I met the mystery man (Mike Harder) face-to-face and we were able to work out a deal that I was very happy with. I never felt pressured. Never felt lost. Mike was terrific. THEN ... I got to the paperwork stage (ugh). The paperwork guy (Chris Weber) was also terrific. He was patient. Explained everything to me... made some changes with no issues at my request. Awesome. In short this whole purchase was great. I would highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Salem to anyone considering buying a vehicle. Oh... and I love my new Mercedes!! More
