I’m originally from South Charleston, West Virginia, and moved to Columbus, Georgia, in 1985 on a tennis scholarship at Columbus College, where I graduated in 1989. After years as a USPTA-certified tennis professional, I found my passion in the automotive industry in 2005. With over 20 years of experience, I take pride in providing a transparent and personalized car-buying experience for every customer. I’m blessed with a wonderful wife, two amazing sons, and our dog, Sir Paul McCartney. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time with my family. Mr. Patel, I received your deeply disturbing review. I have always welcomed open and honest reviews in an attempt to help us perform at the highest level of customer service. However, This review is far from honest and borders on the line of slander. In order of your statement; There was never a discussion of you leaving a check to "hold" a vehicle. It is our store policy that we do not take holds of any kind on Pre-Owned vehicles. In fact, you were told this and that another customer wanted this Acura. Therefore you wrote a check to "Purchase" a vehicle. You again falsely said you did not see the Acura after the work was performed, However you were taken to view the vehicle while it was pulled into the service area, After the bumper repair. You also failed to mention that we offered to perform additional repair to the bumper in order to meet your standards. You declined. You also stated you did not sign anything. Mr. Patel, You know that is also false. Rick even sent you a copy of the signed Bill of Sale with your signature on it. I will be happy to re-send it to you. It appears that you are misinterpreting being told you had to honor your agreement, with a lack of respect and aggression. Before you make assumptions about someone in your poorly veiled accusation of racism, maybe you should have taken a look at my family photo on my desk. The truth is you wrote a check and agreed to purchase a car. You were well aware this was going to upset another customer who was coming to view that vehicle. You knew we do not hold vehicles for any customer so in order to stop them from buying it, You wrote a check and paid in full. You gave us your word and we shook hands in agreement. As foolish as it may seem to you, I still believe a persons word is important. Truth is important. A persons character is important. It seems when your sister arrived, she decided she wanted something else. We would have been happy to allow her to trade the Acura towards another vehicle. But we do not offer a money back return policy because you changed your mind. In an effort to show grace and redeem a proper business relationship with you, I will be more than happy to ensure that the bumper adjustment meets your level of expectation or, allow you to trade it towards another vehicle. We are sorry to hear that you're unhappy, but we must firmly clarify that your claims are completely false and misleading. We take great pride in our transparency and integrity, and we have thorough documentation that proves this vehicle showed no signs of an air conditioning issue during inspection or delivery. In fact, we invested over $2,400 in reconditioning this vehicle, including new tires and a full brake job, because we believe in delivering quality — not cutting corners. The multi-point inspection shows zero AC concerns, and your own test drive included verifying that the AC was functioning properly. We also provided you with a copy of the inspection and service records, as well as multiple signed As-Is disclosures, which clearly state the vehicle was sold without a warranty. You signed acknowledging you understood you would be responsible for future repairs — and unfortunately, unexpected issues can occur on any vehicle, especially one that is six years old with 90,000 miles. What we will not tolerate, however, is false and defamatory public attacks. Our team made multiple efforts to speak with you, and we were met with profanity and aggression. We will always treat our customers with respect, and we expect the same in return. Using threats of negative reviews in exchange for money is extortion, and we will not be bullied into paying for something we could not have predicted, caused, or known about. To anyone reading this, we encourage you to reach out directly. We’re proud of the way we do business, and we have the paperwork to back it up.
