Great Sales Person, Not a Great Finance Person! Went to this dealership just to drive a Mazda CX-5 and met Rubin Lapidus. Told him right away I wasn't a fan of car salesmen but he was super nice and Went to this dealership just to drive a Mazda CX-5 and met Rubin Lapidus. Told him right away I wasn't a fan of car salesmen but he was super nice and not pushy at all. Drove one but they didn't have the trim I wanted so we went thru all the paperwork which was fine and then I met the finance guy....Todd Mayers... suffice to say if he had been the sales person or the first person I encountered at the dealership, I would have left and never returned! Super pushy and condescending when you refuse anything he tries to upcharge you with before he finalizes the paperwork... and he went on and on about what a great credit score I had to the point of it being uncomfortable. I know I have a great credit score, I don't need to be told over and over. Anyway, Rubin was great but I decided not to buy at this particular time because all the virus stuff exploded before they could get the vehicle I wanted and I did not feel comfortable purchasing a new vehicle. If and when I decide, if I do, to buy a new vehicle, I would contact Rubin again but would not want to deal with Todd. At this time, I am still at home and not working much so I have no need for a new vehicle. More
