PLEASE READ -CAN NOT BE TRUSTED I very rarely post reviews and when I do I generally only post positive ones. As a matter of fact I’ve only posted one negative review in my life and took it down the n reviews and when I do I generally only post positive ones. As a matter of fact I’ve only posted one negative review in my life and took it down the next day when the manager apologized and rectified the situation. Unfortunately I feel as if I have to post this today to hopefully save others from going through the same experience. I will do my best to keep it quick. I was there on Saturday and dealt with the salesperson Ryan. After being there for a number of hours we finally came to an agreement on a lease for an Explorer ST. Upon realizing they didn’t have the color I wanted in stock, he was able to find one that was coming in on Oct 9th. He asked for a deposit so we can lock in the deal. It was now 5 o’clock when they were closing and their employees were starting to leave. Being that I didn’t want to keep them there late I asked if they’d prefer I come back during the week. I told them I wanted the deal and they didn’t have to worry about me going to another dealership. They were appreciative and agreed to that. I kept in touch with Ryan through text (which I have saved) to work out when I would come in for the deposit and sign the paperwork. When I got there tonight, Ryan double checked with me, to make sure I still wanted the same car, which I did, and than he walked over to his manager Steve. When he came back, he said they weren’t going to do the deal at the price we agreed, unless I take one of the colors they have on the lot. I was obviously very upset since I didn’t like any of those colors, and I questioned Ryan as to how they could not honor the agreement. I even pointed out that the only reason I didn’t leave a deposit on Saturday was out of consideration to the workers and their families. He just kept repeating that Steve said that deal was only for a car they had in stock (despite the fact they even gave me a date of when my car would be in). After a minute of back and forth I stood up and left. On my way out I said to Ryan that I was very disappointed and what took place was very SHADY! At that point the manager Steve came running out of the store as I was almost in my car. My first thought was that he wanted to do right by me and make the original deal, but instead it was the exact opposite. He yelled towards me, “don’t ever call my business shady”. I stated that’s exactly what this was. I’m an honest person who treats people with respect but didn’t receive anything close to the same thing back. At that point Steve told me the other manager made a mistake and shouldn’t have given me that deal on a car that had to be ordered and said he wouldn’t honor it. We continued to have a back and forth but instead of trying to fix the problem Steve kept telling me not to call him or his business shady. At one point he couldn’t hear something I said, and he responded “excuse me” as he stepped towards me as if he wanted to fight. I actually asked him if he was trying to fight me and questioned if this was a business or a street corner. Many people have told me that Dana Ford has gone downhill and I shouldn’t go to them, but I wanted to give them a chance since I’ve had good experiences with them in the past. Unfortunately I learned the hard way. For the record I still believe Ryan is a nice guy. I wish he would have been more honest tonight but he was in a tough spot where telling the truth would have gotten him in trouble with his manager and possibly jeopardized his job. More

I was greeted by salesman Ahmed when I walked in the sales room door. I was shown 2 models that I was interested in and ended up selecting an explorer. Ahmed answered all of my many questions and was ex sales room door. I was shown 2 models that I was interested in and ended up selecting an explorer. Ahmed answered all of my many questions and was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant and worked with me through the purchase., I bought the car mainly because of my comfort level with the salesman. I had no intention of buying that day as a new car was something that I wanted but didn’t need just yet. Another thing that made my purchase experience comfortable was the demeanor of the entire staff at the dealership. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and easy to talk to, from the nice woman at the front desk, the person who worked with my insurance, the finance team member and the cashiers all had good personalities and made the time spent at the dealer a positive experience. The manager Steve came over to introduce himself and answered a few questions when needed in a very professional and timely manner. As someone who manages a professional practice I was able to identify that the dealership was well managed and everyone knew their responsibilities. This is the 2nd car purchase that I made at Dana and the experience of both will certainly put me in their showroom again in the future. More
