I purchased a 2020 Jeep Wrangler and traded in a 2019 ram 1500 with warranty. I did not opt for gap or warranty through the dealer because I can get it cheaper through my financed credit union. So as I was signing papers with the finance guy Steven, I was asking if I needed to cancel my warranty to get a refund and he stated "yes, you need to do that on your own". Turns out one of the papers I signed gave them the ability to cancel the warranty and use it as a down payment. My plan was to never put a down payment on the vehicle, the copy of the warranty contract cancellation was left out of the USB they provide to me on purpose so I don't see it when I get home to review the paperwork. When I actually called to check the status of the warranty contract they said they sent it to Jerry Ulm. I contacted Jerry Ulm and then someone sent me the missing papers from my USB showing what I signed!! I couldn't believe that. Finance guy was Steven Heard. Be careful with their deceptive finance tactics. More
