The dealership is clean, well laid out and everyone is friendly and has a smile on their faces. Her friendly demeanor made us feel very comfortable during the purchase process. Our only regret is that we didn't discover Phillips Toyota until recently. We would also like to acknowledge Tom Pardo for arranging the financing. After several other past dealership transactions that left us questioning the integrity of the financial staff, working with Tom was nothing short of amazing. AT THE END it was rush, rush and pushed the paper work which was selling contracts and nothing to do with car sales.After buying 13 Toyotas which I still have 3 I'm finished doing business with Toyota. In years gone by Toyota would never do business this way. I agree with other statements here that the closing is a pile on of paper work that you cannot digest in days much less minutes . Statement made while attempting to read the papers can not to be trusted , so sad that a great car company has let there dealers conduct business this way.............worse then the old used car lots when tire kicking was an inspection ! Poor business ethics While the 2019 Avalon Hybrid is great. This dealership has proven to me to be unscrupulous in their business practices. On Feb 11 I was pressured int While the 2019 Avalon Hybrid is great. This dealership has proven to me to be unscrupulous in their business practices. On Feb 11 I was pressured into purchasing unwanted warranties and when I tried to cancel through the finance officer Tom Pardo the next day was told I had to wait. When I brought a copy of my tax return to my salesman Trey on the 13th he went to his supervisor and I signed paperwork for cancelation and refund of sales tax. To date this paperwork has not been recieved by Fidelity Warranty as they have confirmed that these policies are still active and they are working on cancellation requests from the 20th of the month now. Buyer beware and do not let them take advantage of you as they did me. Received the coupon book for service plan they added. Fortunately I was able to cancel directly. This plan can only be used at Phillip's and Tom Pardo knew I live in Tn and lied through his teeth to get a sale starting it could be used at any Toyota dealer. As I said earlier I'm happy with the car but would never deal with this company again other than to get my sales tax back on the canceled items which I know I will have to fight for. More
