CHANGING MY RAVING REVIEW TO MORE THAN A HORRIBLE REVIEW! I wrote a raving review on here about my experience with working with Summit Place Kia of Auburn HIlls. I worked with David Lee {Sales} an REVIEW! I wrote a raving review on here about my experience with working with Summit Place Kia of Auburn HIlls. I worked with David Lee {Sales} and Will Leger {Online Finance}. I was turning in my old lease and was trying to get into a New Kia Soul. I found what I was seeking, a new Kia Lease to rescind the excess miles on my Forte. This is my 6th Kia lease. During my negotiations with David Lee I continuously stated that I could only afford $2000 down and could not pay both miles and down payment. He call me on June 3, 2020 and said that I would only need to put down the $2000 he asked if I wanted to make my last lease payment or if I wanted to roll it into the new lease. I Opted to pay my last lease payment. I kept asking Dave if he was sure I didn't owe anything on the old lease because I could not afford a down payment and pay for wear and tear and over millage on my Kia Forte. He kept saying YES nothing is owed on your Forte over and over. I was so grateful and so appreciative. He came to my house with his Wife to finalize the paperwork. We basically did it in the parking lot due to the Covid 19. Long story short, I called to make my last payment on Kia Forte and I was told that I owed for over miles. I told them that there was a mistake and that I was told that I didn't owe anything on Forte except for last payment. I fear that I have been manipulated with DECEPTIVE practices. I called Dave to tell him about owing for the extra miles, he was very dismissive and after I told him I had to figure out how I can get this situation fixed. I received a very rude text saying how he drug his wife out to come deliver the car and that he didn't make any money from working with me. It was heartbreaking to be treated with such disrespect!!! I wrote the President of Summit Mr. LaLonde .. It was a registered letter to tell him what happened .. I still have not heard back. I am now seeking other options to fight this unfair and unjust situation. More
