Two weeks ago I was involved in an accident that totaled my car. Being a full time engineering student with a full time job, I had zero time for the mess that ensued. I knew I wanted to try an Accord for a commuter car as I had previously had a Camry. As soon as the check came in from my insurance I filled out an Edmunds.com form for an Accord and was contacted by Steve Bagwell at Hendrick Honda. I told him what had happened, what I had driven before, and what I wanted in a car. He was very helpful as I explained my financial situation.
Without tooting my own horn, I have great credit, but hadn't planned to purchase a car. In other words I hadn't paid down all of my credit cards, and saved up a large down payment in anticipation of totaling my three year old car. He was very understanding, and was able to map out the situation before I ever arrived at the dealership. He had a comparable car ready for me to test drive, and got me fantastic lease terms, that actually reduced my payment by $100 from what my previous loan had been. I was able to add a few extras, and still come out $40 cheaper with a brand new car.
The experience was surreal compared to my experience at other dealers, where I always seemed to struggle for a lower quality vehicle at a much higher price than my credit warranted. In any case, the clear coat and tint were done immediately as soon as I was able to bring in the car, and Steve was very helpful during the entire process. We exchanged phone calls regularly throughout the whole deal. The financing office was also fantastic. I was given great deals, and the paperwork was run through about as painlessly as possible.
This all happened between 8:00 pm and 10:30 pm as well. Nobody acted irritated that I kept them at work two hours late because of my own terrible schedule. The overall experience was fantastic, and I look forward to my fiancee' getting her first new car at Hendrick in a few months, and I definitely look forward to trading up there at the end of my lease!

We had a very pleasant experience in dealing with McKenney-Salinas Honda. From the first email exchange with Tammy Boone to the pickup of the 2016 Honda Pilot Touring with Ted Anderson, everything was done professionally and with no hassles usually found at most car dealerships. We knew we were wanting a car in a color that wasn't readily available, so we knew that we would have to order the car, and that was very acceptable for us.
Price was a very big part of our buying consideration and the management was willing to offer a competitive price for a very popular vehicle. We were actually surprised how fast the car was delivered to them and to us.
Bottom line, working with Tammy (internet sales) and Ted (inside sales) was a very pleasant and low pressure experience. I recommend them if you are in the market for a Honda vehicle.

I bought a 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP Turbo Convertible, a make and model hard to find in good condition from any dealer, from Stevenson Honda in Wilmington. I saw it on the internet and made the 100 plus mile trip to check it out and bought it on the spot. It looked and drove like it just came from the factory so I didn't mind the higher price tag as I was buying this car for life. After a short time, however, I found many things weren't right so I contacted the dealership only to get a cold response. The salesman was in limbo and the manager had one foot out the door. After I complained to the "top levels" of management the new general manager, Austin Murray, got right on it and made everything right to MY satisfaction. He even hung in there to get me a new owners manual which the car lacked and without it is near impossible to maintain this car. I would suggest highly that anyone who is looking to buy a new or used car go directly to Austin Murray as he is a man of his word....something very rare in business these days.

Purchased a new Honda Odyssey. The pricing was straightforward, good and with absolutely no surprises. Of the dealers in the area by far the easiest and most straightforward to deal with. We recently decided to purchase a new Honda CRV and we dealt with John Cook at Friendship Honda in Boone, North Carolina. John Cook, was our original contact while investigating the particular make, model and color of the car we were interested in. We also took the time to compare prices with other dealerships in the area. We found that Johnson City Honda in Johnson City would do anything to get a customer in the door, but were not able to deliver the model and color we went there see and possibly purchase. In the end after asking us to wait for and making excuses for several days, Johnson City Honda Failed to deliver any of their now empty promises. I will NEVER EVER again deal with Johnson City Honda!
BUT in Boone at Friendship Honda we found the staff there accommodating, straight forward, willing to deal to what we felt was a FAIR and HONEST price for a 2015 Honda CRV, Touring model. Our first sales representative John Cook, dealt with us in a forthright, kind manner and was willing to answer our questions even though he knew we were looking at other dealerships.
John Cook and all the Staff at Friendship Honda of Boone, North Carolina have earned our loyalty and we would most definitely purchase a new car from them again in the future.

This is the seventh car I bought from Tim Marburger dealerships. They always give me a great deal and they first prices beats other dealers. Be careful of other dealers come-ons like "free" oil changes that require tire rotation and lifetime warranty that cost you and doesn't cover what you think it does. Always ask to see the real warranty and read it first. Gerry Wood never would show me their lifetime drivetrain warranty.
