I recently had some alarm issues with 2006 Honda Odyssey with 187,000 miles. The dealership kept it for days troubleshooting the issue and gave me a 2017 Honday Odyssey loaner to drive. The fix ended up being minor but driving the new Odyssey gave me the desire to want a new car. I test drove a 2010 Venza that they had on-site and requested that they see if a newer 2015 Venza at their Charleston, SC dealership was available. It arrived the next day and underwent a thorough inspection before they sold it to me. I was very pleased with everyone that assisted me in all areas. It was strange buying a Toyota from a Honda dealership, however Hendricks owns many types of dealerships so you can pretty much get any car you want!!!

Service has always been very good. Our very recent purchase of a 2016 Odyssey from Adrien Curry went smoothly and pleasantly. Manager Matt Harrell handled our trade-in and left us annoyed. He evaluated our 2006 average mileage Odyssey, told our it was worth way less than any rated value we had found on the web for trade-in for a car in good shape and 130k miles. He then proceeded to insult us by finding faults with what was a mechanically well maintained car with some small dings, and telling us that it would have to go to auction and only bring $1000. We tried hard to do some honest bargaining, and we got him to come up a little in value, and left it at that. Then four days later we see our van sitting out front, waxed up and with new tires, with an asking price of $7,495." Image how that made us feel. Adrien - thanks for you service., Matt, we are sorry you felt compelled to bargain dishonestly with us to get the deal your way.

After test driving and dealing with high pressure sales people at several local dealerships, we were understandably not looking forward to visiting yet another dealership. However, after meeting and talking with Ted Anderson at McKenney Salinas Honda, we were instantly reassured that we had found the right dealership and the right car. Ted and staff at McKenney made the entire process painless, and actually very pleasant. After a test drive, the numbers on the new car and our trade were presented factually and professionally as opposed to nothing being presented in writing at the other dealerships. We felt the deal offered was exceptional. Overall, our treatment at McKenney Salinas Honda was excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

The sales department is absolutely horrible. I would strongly recommend that anyone searching for a new car go elsewhere. I purchased a car from these jokers in December 2016 and it was a miserable experience. From the back and forth, to hiding my trade-in, to offering cars that had absolutely nothing I asked for, and receiving the run around for hours on end, it proved to be the worse mistake of my life. I'm embarrassed to say that I signed the papers only as a means to just get out. Stupid, I know. To top it off, They finally brought my trade-in out, allowed me to get the stuff out of it and then disappeared. I waited, waited and waited some more. Finally, someone I had not dealt with, handed me the key and pointed the new car out. I took the stuff, put it in the car, and waited again for the tag to be transferred. After being told the tag was on, I asked for the additional keys to the car. A man at the front desk stated that he didn't have them, they would need to be cut. He said to stop back by and pick them up. I told him that I had spent too much time at Crown Honda already. He could put them in the mail. That was over 6 weeks ago and I still haven't seen the them. I am still waiting, AGAIN!!!!! I went to this dealership because the service department is fabulous but I will NOT ever purchase another car from them. They are terrible!!!

Purchased a new Honda Odyssey. The pricing was straightforward, good and with absolutely no surprises. Of the dealers in the area by far the easiest and most straightforward to deal with. Hard to find car dealers who are not playing games of adding dealer installed options or any trick to get you in the door. None of those was my experience here and I will be back again if we are in the market.

Let me start by saying that I am not one of those people who likes going car shopping (but then again, who is?). I have had multiple bad experiences at car dealerships.
I had nothing but the best experience at Lumberton Honda. I told Angela over the phone that I was not 100% sure I wanted to buy a car and she assured me that there would be no pressure, that I would be treated like family.
They didn't disappoint. Kalena was my salesperson and she was very patient with me through test driving 3 cars and negotiating my payment down to something I could live with. I got more for my trade than what it was worth (a lot more, my old car was special in all the wrong ways). I got a 2016 Ford Fusion SE with Ecoboost with leather interior that I LOVE. I have never loved any car I have ever owned before.
Lumberton Honda is worth the drive.

We purchased a new 2016 Honda C-RV 12/2016.@ Asheboro Honda our Sales Rep. Was David Ford. We stopped in an began to talk David made you feel so at ease he was very friendly not pushy at all. He knew his product. He answered our questions even went above and beyond explained the difference in the vehicles to us we went on a test drive. We did not buy the first day David understood we wanted some time to talk we went back 2 days later and made our purchase David was with us all the way through. He has explained everything to us and told us what to expect everything was so smooth. The thing I like is that they talk to you and not at you. Thank You Mark and Alex for your kindness. The worst dealership - Bruck
I saw a car and test drove it. Gave them my offer and got a text from their sales person with a counter offer and I agreed and drove 40 minutes to their dealership. Took all my info, pulled my credit report and as we finalized after an hour or so I was told by another member while I was sitting that they can't sale the car and said they thought the offer is for a different car and didn't even care for my time, experience and even pulling my credit report. It was the worst experience and I hope people think twice before visiting that dealership. They are crooks

General Mgr opted to increase offer during negotiations $1,500. Yes increase! Bought my new Pilot today from another dealership $2k less. The GM never had a nice word to say, was a jerk. The sales person was young, new and friendly. Have no idea how he works for this man. I have even written Honda about this horrible experience.
