I recently had my first car buying experience with Nate Allen at Checkered Flag Honda. Nate was so great to work with and went out of his way to make sure that I was able to get the car I wanted. He was very respectful of me as a buyer and never made me feel any pressure to make a decision. The Civic I wanted was at another Checkered Flag dealership, and Nate was able to arrange for me to test drive it on the same day. When I was ready to buy, he had it transferred to Checkered Flag Honda so I could complete the purchase with him. Nate was easy to get in touch with throughout and even after I bought the car. When I drove up to the service area, no one greeted me. I went in to ask about service and was told to pull my car into the bay. I waited for a few moments and no one said a word. I finally spoke with a representative who was standing around and they expressed that they thought someone else was helping me. After that the experience changed for the better. Everyone was pleasant and exceptionally service oriented. I was quickly taken care of and in and out in no time.

I purchased my certified used 2014 Honda Civic about a month ago and couldn't be more pleased and satisfied with both the car and the people at Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg. My salesman, Mitch was friendly and very helpful and there was no pressure to buy. He was knowledgeable and explained everything very well. The sales manager, Kingsley was super friendly and very easy to talk to and my negotiations were met in full. I got my vehicle for a great price! My finance guy was Matt Carpenter and I got excellent care from him as well. I loved the fact that he was always smiling. It's funny how little things like that can just make your day! Today, I spoke with Brady in the service department with a million and one questions. He was very friendly and answered the phone with great enthusiasm...what a great start! Brady was very patient with me while I asked my plethora of questions. He answered every one of them with great knowledge. I am extremely pleased with Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg and would highly recommend them.
Just one more little tid bit for anyone looking for a great car. I recently traveled around 600 miles and got a gas mileage of 42.2 mpg! EXCELLENT!

There were some rough spots during the sales process, but the sales manager came up with a good solution for my needs at a reasonable price. I particularlu like the Priority for Life plan, which I regard as insurance and an aid for budgeting. I expectrd to pay for it, but felt it was promoted as a free service. I liked the freewheeling atmosphere, but sometimes felt that it was a little too pushy. I like the way my first setvice call went and hope the add-ons turn out to be worthwhile. The finance manager came up with a good loan rate considering my credit problems 6 years ago.

I have spent a week calling around to find out prices on brake work for my 2010 honda civic for my daughter. When I called the service dept at Fairfax Honda I was was directed to Mr. Shawn Wilcox. He was not only very helpful, but worked with me on what were all the possible costs. I dropped off my car and was called back after the work was done for the price we agreed too. Recommendations were made for other work the car needed and I decided certain things had to be done, no pressure, just good advice. We talked about what was best for the car to keep it running safely. I picked it up this afternoon and paid what we agreed to and felt the car ran great. I feel confident that the car will perform very well for my daughter.

Purchased a 2011 Odyssey new and have had it serviced here for the life of the vehicle. Now have 105,000 miles on the car. Overall, I have been well satisfied. I have probably purchased over 20 new cars in my life. The buying experience here was average, not bad but nothing to rave about. . The service has always been done properly and with courtesy but the service department does occasionally get backed up. Their estimates have been reliable. Service responsiveness deteriorated during the recent new dealership renovation but hopefully will get back to the former level. I have no reason not to go back to this dealer for service or a new Honda.
