My life came to a halt when my cavalier died 2 weeks ago. I needed a car and I needed it fast. I contacted Larry Brown and asked if there was any way he could help me get a new car. Let me say with my credit I didn't think any dealership would touch me! Larry had me feel out most of my information online and fax over some essentials. He had an answer for me in less than hour. I was approved for a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. I never thought miracles came true, but it did for me that day. It was such a FAST SIMPLE AND SMART process!!! I spent if that an hour in the dealership. This dealership had a hard to find vehicle so we drove 3 hours to buy it. The salesman was very nice and not pushy like a lot of anxious salesman trying to make a sale. My only complaint is with the finance department. Before driving 3 hours I was trying to get the financing in place up front. I did the credit application online and several hours later I called to get details on the financing. The finance manager did not want to give me any details over the phone but I kept asking about the interest rate for the loan I would be getting. He said it would be in the 3s but would give me any more firm information. Once we sat down with him the rate was 7% and he couldn't explain why I was told 3% earlier and of course didn't know who I spoke too. The more he talked I realized he was the person. My credit union quoted me a number near that so I just signed and took the vehicle because it was a good deal for the vehicle. So other than the finance guy being shady I would recommend this dealership.

I was in between appointments and I decided to see if Honda could figure out the noise my Odyssey was making. I didn't have an appointment and I only had a few hours. I spoke with Mr. Ivan Funes and said that they would look at it and let me know. Because of my next appointment, I inquired about a loaner or rental car. They found the problem within an hour. I had the repairs done and I was given a loaner car until the next day. I'm very glad for Mr. Funes. He was very kind and understanding.

This purchase of a CR-V was the second vehicle purchased in the past two years from this dealership and both were purchased from Justin Sproles. Justin really takes the to know his client and then builds the car buying experience to best meet that client's needs. Honda CRV versus Toyota Rav 4 - Greg Everett
My wife and I decided we needed a new vehicle and had narrowed our selection down to either the Toyota Rav 4 or the Honda CRV. Our saleman Andre Abitbol new his merchandise well and that of his leading competitor. He was right in showing that even though I normally prefer Toyotas; dollar for dollar the features included with the Honda CRV made it a better purchase and we did compare both in a test drive. Andre was there for the sale begginining to end. He even programed the cars blue tooth system for my wifes phone upon delivery of the vehicle to her. Matt his sales manager was able to farely nogotiate an agreeable price knocking out all the added fluff. From the lady selling us the added corrosion protection package through the finace manager the Staff here at Priority Honda is top notch. Given time and with such vehicles as Honda seems to be producing I don't expect it to be long before this patictular dealership grows and expands as large as its Toyota brother up the road gaining its own snack bar as well. Priority's sale price with its guarantees on this particular vehicle significantly beat out the Checkerd Flags and First team Hondas price. Priority Honda a true winner.

I have probably purchased more than 20+ cars in my lifetime and I hate the whole dealership experience. Having said that, I am motivated to post this review because my recent experience at Colonial Honda with Sales Associate Tricia Lewis could not have been better. She was a great listener and took all the time that was needed to review all of the model options and financing options that were available to me. She treated me as if I were the only customer in the dealership and never once allowed interruptions from others - zeroing in on me the entire time I was there. The negotiation was quick and painless. I would highly recommend Tricia and this dealership to any one looking for a great car experience. I have long been a Nissan and Toyota customer, but my Honda experience has certainly change my perspective!

Realized that I was past due an oil change and tire rotation and contacted the service department early Saturday morning. They indicated that even though they were extremely busy, to go ahead and bring my vehicle in. I did not have to wait very long once there and when the service was complete, they ran my CRV through their car wash. I never once was made to feel as if they were rushing me through. They appeared very thankful that I continue to bring my vehicle to them for service, and I don't see myself going anywhere else for service. Customer care plays an important part in any consumer's life and they perform in an excellent manner.

Car buying experience cannot be worse than this. I went to buy a CRV few weeks ago. Spent nearly 7 hours there with my wife and my 18months kid and when we are going to close the deal, they said they cannot finance me because of my immigration status. I am a recent PhD graduate and just started a job. There is nothing wrong with my immigration status that they cannot finance me. Several friends of mine bought their cars with similar status. The sales person Leo, forced me to contact my manager and asks for a letter that will state that my company will keep me for 5 years. Without this letter they cannot finance me for 5 years. Such an unusual request! They took copies of my every possible immigration documents: passport, visa, ssn card, academic transcript and said nothing would work. Not only that, at the end, they throw several very derogatory comments. When I asked, do you have any template of the letter that you are asking. The finance guy said, "well it's not like a love letter", as though I don't know anything about official letters. Then at the end, Leo said "you may go to Mexico and sell the car". I don't know what's going on their mind.
The very next week, I went to another dealer and bought a car without any trouble with 5 years financing. And obviously, nothing is changed in this one week in terms of my immigration status. They only needed my SSN and visa status and did not ask for my passport, visa or make copy of SSN card.
Besides the horrible experience at this Honda dealer, now, I am very afraid what Honda/ the salesperson will do with all of my confidential documents and constantly worried about identity theft. I will highly recommend international students or recent graduates not to go to this dealer. They will just humiliate you and waste your valuable time.

I have been coming to this dealer for service on my Honda for 4 yrs now...If there is ever a time where you feel like the service wasnt up to par just speak to a manager. They aim to please and appreciate their customers. That says a lot. They really do try to strive for ppl's business which is why I continue dealing with them. I went across town in Chesapeake to buy another car at another Honda dealership because First Team Honda didnt have much of a selection at the time. Worst mistake! Even with the other dealership's gimmicks of free oil changes and engine guarantees you can't beat First team Honda's attitude going above in beyond to provide excellent customer service. while they may not give you free oil change but their vehicles are already price cheaper than that competitor that it really does NOT matter. Plus how much do you really spend in oil change a year anyway? $130 if even... Not worth paying thousands in total price of a car at the other dealership. Do your research and do the math. In addition to the care, and excellent customer service you will receive at First Team Honda. Spent your hard earned dollars where a company value you as a person and not how much they can get from you.
