Despite Some Hiccups at Dealership, I'm Glad to Have My CR-V I wasn't expecting to agree to terms on a car the day I showed up to look at the CR-V, but I realized it was a deal I couldn't pass up. Looking back, I wasn't expecting to agree to terms on a car the day I showed up to look at the CR-V, but I realized it was a deal I couldn't pass up. Looking back, I wish I had called ahead to set up an appointment with a senior sales representative (or at least a more experienced rep), but I have the car so all is well that ends well. My representative Dinor was obviously new. He had great intentions and was a good guy, but I felt uncomfortable with such an inexperienced salesman for my first ever car purchase, even with my parents with me. With time and experience, I'm sure he'll make a great salesman, but the process of buying the car (especially with the paperwork) seemed scattered and unorganized, making me a bit apprehensive and stressed. The time I felt most comfortable was when I sat down with Mike in finance because I was getting direct answers and good advice. That was very reassuring for me. We certainly spent more time at the dealership than we wanted to those couple of days (probably around 5 hours total), but again, I got the car I wanted and I am very happy with my purchase. My recommendation to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle is to at least call ahead and try to set up an appointment as soon as you see a used car on on their lot that interests you.
