I'm always suspicious of dealership service centers. Services are typically overpriced and they always have "recommendations" that sound like you better do it or else. I understand it is probably the Services are typically overpriced and they always have "recommendations" that sound like you better do it or else. I understand it is probably the biggest profit center of any dealership. What caused me to be particularly unimpressed with this visit was the following: 1) Within 30 minutes of dropping off the vehicle I received the results of a 50 point (exaggerated) inspection along with multiple "recommendations" of additional things to have done. Red flags immediately go up! 2) I made the appointment online and (in addition to other services) requested one specific thing to be checked. When I picked up the vehicle I asked if that item had been checked. My Service Advisor had no clue but noticed my comment on the work order. Their response was "well, keep an eye on it and if it's still an issue let us know." 3) in the multipoint inspection the tire pressure was noted as 35 psi on a, ll 4 tires. When I picked up the , vehicle, I checked the pressure using the dashboard display. Numbers displayed were 38,37,38 and 36. Not sure if the computer is messed up or if the tech just threw in numbers on the report. 4) when an alignment is recommended without actually checking to see if the wheels are out of alignment, I don't see that as the kind of diagnostics a good service center would perform. 5) When I dropped off the vehicle I asked if they could apply any of your current coupons/discounts to the work being done. They said they would take care of it. I had to remind them of what the current offers were when I picked up the vehicle. Sorry, can't give you 5 stars this visit. More
