My husband and I set up an appointment with the dealership to look at and test drive a vehicle. We noticed on their website that there was a different vehicle that we were more interested in. We inquired about this vehicle only during our appointment. We saw the vehicle we were interested in on the lot before we entered the dealership. After about 10 minutes of conversation with a sales rep, he left us to go track down keys for the vehicle. He came back to us about 15 minutes later informing us that the vehicle was currently being driven by the sales manager who was headed out for the day. They informed us we would need to make another appointment to come back to see the vehicle. My husband and I attempted to leave as we were not interested in doing business with them if they refused to show us the vehicle during this appointment. We were told to “hang tight”. After another 10-15 minutes, we were told that the service manager was “in a hurry” but we could see the vehicle around the side but couldn’t drive it. Again, we refused and said that we would be leaving once we got our key back. About 5 minutes later a new individual came over to us and informed us that the service manager was moving his things to another used car and we could view and test drive the car. This took another 10 minutes to complete. The vehicle was listed on their website as having 35k miles when in reality it had 42k miles due to the service manager driving it as his daily driver. We did end up purchasing the vehicle as it was a specific color that we had been looking for which is hard to find in that trim level. At delivery, we were given only one key to the car. When asked about the second key, they told us they would have to “check on it”. They came back with a “we owe” bill to show that they owe us a second key which we have yet to receive correspondence about. Our experience with the dealership was less than ideal. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. More
When you buy a new car from a dealership, part of the sales protocol is to get the car detailed before handing you the keys to it. This was not done for me. When you spend thousands of dollars on a new car the least a dealership can do is clean it for you. Second time I bought a new car, second time I had an incompetent salesman that didn't care if my car was cleaned. At least this time I didn't find cigarette ashes in the ashtray. That's alright DeNooyer I'll clean my own car. More
