I am used to exceptional service at my Northern BMW dealership. With the exception of Sal, the service I received was very disappointing. When I first called to schedule service as a new customer, th dealership. With the exception of Sal, the service I received was very disappointing. When I first called to schedule service as a new customer, the person answering the phone said he had never heard of an Alpina car. I had to spell it for him. I told him I needed front brakes on an Alpina b6. He scheduled my appointment for a BMW i3. When I arrived, after a 30 minute drive through heavy traffic, I was told they would have to check to see if they had the parts in stock. The parts were not in stock - a fact easily ascertained if anyone had bothered to check at the time I made my appointment or at any time in the intervening two weeks between my call and the actual appointment. So, I wasted an hour of my time even though the dealership knew both the model of my car and the precise parts needed. I was then quoted a price for the work, prepaid for the parts and came back two weeks later. Upon arriving I was told that the quoted price was not correct because the “tech” had “forgotten” to include the price of all of the parts and the actual charge was $60 higher. Having spent two hours on the road, one completely unnecessary, and being charged higher than the written quote, you can be assured I will not be back. More
