I do not remember the name of the salesperson but I remember some info that he told us about himself, specifically that he was from CA and made money trading bitcoin. I am willing to speak to you but, to be perfectly honest, what can you do to make it right? I see nothing that can be done for me as I’ve already purchased the Sienna from another dealer and will have it in my possession by the end of the month. But, for your future customers, strive for transparency and honesty. Be up front with potential buyers and state you are marking up vehicles over MSRP before they decide to travel any distance to your your showroom. Next, value potential customers’ trade-ins properly. The vehicle I was trading was not valued correctly and I have paperwork from two other dealers to prove it. Your company undervalued both condition and never added the low mileage valuation, resulting in a number that was $4,500 less that I got from two other dealers. The salesman then tried to convince me that these were correct numbers and that others had overvalued the vehicles. I just got my monthly KBB notification for my Sienna and it is still valued at nearly $20,000 in trade (not retail). If you don’t want the trade, be upfront rather than attempting to mislead the customer or “steal” the vehicle for a cheap price. From reading other reviews of your dealership as posted on numerous websites, mine was not a unique situation as others have posted similar complaints. Responses from your dealership have always encouraged those affected to call but the patterns and complaints do not seem to be changing. It sounds like your way of doing business needs some updating. People are a lot smarter and old style sales tactics simply don’t work like they used to!
